Baguley Hall

Hi my name is Ed Begley...I was going to let you know a ghost story passed down in my family. my family came to America in 1635...the last ancestor Thomas Bagley...left Bagley hall in 1422...so this story must predate 1422...my Grand Father was born in 1894 so he knew a lot about the family...he always claimed to be a Cheshire blue blood..before 1800's Baguley hall still rested in Cheshire now Lancashire. we did get recognized by late garter King Peter Jones....but the dispute would result in costly court cost the Legh family owed all there holdings from Baguley feoments at any rate we did get to bare arms here and the term Esq. now the story was that there were three brothers and two sisters they all had different mothers...they all got estates but Baguley hall was given to all of them as joint heirs....instead of sharing it they each claimed an area and it was screened off to separate themselves and the hall itself was opened to all of them...an argument insured between two of them and they challenged each other to a race with a form of chariot in the hall down steps that resulted in both being slain...after that you could here arguing and running and loud noises on the steps....the effigy said to be Sir William rest in St. Mary parish...it has a lot of energy around it...I think there's another story but would have to check my notes.

@@mobd189 we Have the original family crest and coat of arms and we do have said book we were also offered to repurchase the Hall back in the early 2000s but declined.
