  • BBnana Cooking How to cook okra stew/soupou kandja
    Ingredients: 3 & 1/2 lbs frozen okra. 2 lbs beef, 4 blue crabs, 1lbs cow feet (optional) 1/2 lbs habaneros peppers, 1/2 lbs shrimps, 1/2 lbs smoke cat fish, 16 oz palm oil, 2 white onions, 1 small piece of dry fish, few pieces of dry seashells, 4 bouillons cubes, salt & water.
    Serving: 12-15 people
    It took 4 hours to cook.

    In Gambia they traditionally cook this on Saturdays. They serve it with rice and also have a fufu dough option for those who prefer it with fufu, or for greedy people who like both. I prefer it with fufu dough.

      We emptied Noah's ark for this meal. Soupa Kandja is so good though. It's the best surf and turf meal.

      Tout à fait vrai !!! L'huile de palme traditionnelle est très riche en vitamine A, 15 fois plus que la carotte. Alors soyons fière de notre huile & n'hésitons pas à en consommer.

    Am a Semi Senegalese but honestly tho super is not a Senegalese dish is a Gambian dish. The Dish is originated from the Aku tribe in Gambia. The Gambian super taste much more better than the Senegalese one,because is a copied dish to them, and is normally cooked on Saturday’s with fufu or rice. Btw thanks for the video
