- This project was completed back in April when the season was just kicking off. I noticed that this whole empty lot had sidewalks that were the roughest I've seen around town. I decided to clean them up. I figured that these sidewalks (if not maintained properly) could possibly end up causing someone a lawsuit. As you may have noticed, this video was recorded back in April of this year. It feels like winter has came early for use here in the PNW. We got our first snowfall a few days ago! Mowing season has come to an end, but the videos haven't. I have stock piled some for the winter, and will be releasing new videos every 2 weeks until season opens up again. Can't say that every two weeks will make me happy because I'm so proud of you and the quality of your work and work ethics and then there's the fact of you are eye candy but you must do what's good for you. Was gonna comment that you cleaned this walk up nicely in preparation for your upcoming snowfall. Then read your pinned comment. Hope the walk is still nice to allow easy snow cleanup. I would love to see some of your snow as here in the Chesapeake Bay Area haven’t seen any in the last few years. I love the snow. I love all that you do to spruce up the neighborhood but I always love watching you use that broom. Stay well.
What is PNW short for?
I know that the city won't see or acknowledge the beauty you've brought back to these areas you have been working on, but the citizens will!!! Great job! Wouldn't it be wonderful if every citizen would take just one day and do what you are doing? It would truly make such a difference in the towns and cities that we call home.❤Pam in South Carolina

@@neusac4590I couldn’t agree more; however, the citizens are charged and pay taxes to the city to maintain these sidewalks and curbs in many areas and they fail to do it.
Perhaps it might show where the city or county officials need to fix some crumbling sidewalks which were covered under years of dirt, leaves, & grass and not maintained. Probably not in the budget yet but the taxpayers will bring it to their attention during the next town hall. You should be commended.

Some of them leave the shoveled stuff laying in the lawns and even though it supposedly 'mulches' into the grass... I think it looks awful...I would rake it up no matter what if it was me. .glad u never do that on people's lawns Phil....you are particular like I am....😊
Unfortunately SB Mowing often leaves most of the green waste behind after doing a great job.

The brush attachment is great and does a good job the way you Fill uses it. Some people use it for entire sidewalks at a time and it makes way too much dirt. Fill seems to use it in short bursts and that makes it much better. He is a perfectionist that his job
I haven’t seen anyone else with that brush attachment. I like it to. It’s very thorough and satisfying 😅

It is amazing the difference a clean edged sidewalk makes to a street and the whole neighborhood. I hope the businesses across the street appreciate the improvement. Great job!

Honestly, Fil, if I was on a city Board or Council I would be looking for these you-tubers who WANT to make you tube revenue doing these sidewalk projects. I would find places for them to do their thing and start laying off the lazy union nepotists at the town maintenance department. Save the town a lot of money, lower taxes and make the city streets look so much better.
Perhaps the city doesn't have enough employees to do all the sidewalks. Costs add up.
In our area, the city makes the landowner maintain the sidewalk. If they don't, the city charges 2x-3x over what the contractor charges to fix it up.
The town should give him a "Community Service Award" for his efforts...like a $500gift card for gad or Something!!!!!

That footpath was a disgrace, even cleaned up it was broken up, more like crazy paving. The city should address such issues, a law suit could still happen from tripping. Thank you for your diligent work, you are exceptional, blessings from Australia 🇦🇺 😊😊😊

Always impressed with editing choices and that broom. My first reaction was, WOW! Use that broom more. It really makes an impression. As I thought about it my guess is that you have an eye for keeping the broom clean as well as useful. Thankful for your attitude toward public sidewalks.

Thank you for cleaning up the public sidewalks and gutters. As someone who walked to and from school in my younger days having the sidewalks cleared was wonderful. Its nice not to slip or trip. Also the area near a gutter can be slippery for a cyclist if it is not kept cleared. Great job!

One of the walk routes my son and I walk when walking our dog has so many unedited and unkempt yards and I'm more aware of them since watching all my lawn service channels. Also trimming back bushes and trees.
So enjoyable to watch these 'disasterous sidewalk' transformations, + am in love with the giant bristled roller brush, which really gets the job done! (Never seen this gem before, unique to your channel !) Great work

Nice job here! Appreciate your hard work. I understand your drive, as although I was raised in the suburban/farm area of Connecticut in the 60"s, in the winter, I used to snowblow all the intersections near my house and the snow buildup in the street. The city tried it's best, but I think couldn't keep up, so I didn't mind doing it. Some neighbors commented I did a better job than the city.

I thought I was experiencing Deja Vu! Instead was reliving some of the best moments in the series. Looking across the road the street walks look immaculate with well managed lawns, but on this side it’s another story. I’m always constantly amazed at how you know where to find the edges when they’re well hidden. That brush is great 😊

What gets me peeved, is that the city owns those side walks and they take our money in taxes to maintain the city. They should be the ones keeping the sidewalks clean and open. All government is good for is stealing our money and giving themselves raises. Selfish pigs!

As you mentioned in your first video in this locale......people were probably using the opposite sidewalk due to the condition of this one! Now they have a safe clean sidewalk on both sides! This type of work helps to halt the deterioration of neighbourhoods....from unseemly and unkempt to well-kept! Thank you for your hard work and volunteerism!

You’re doing pretty good cleaning sidewalks, but believe it or not, I enjoy your “before and after” because you took the time to match the angle or point of view, I mean, when you show the before and then the after is exactly taken from the same spot, that makes a very great view that we can actually tell how much change happened.

First time ever seeing a little pie shaped area of grass at a corner. I've only ever noticed the whole corner being concrete.
I like when you use your attachment to sweep the street. That’s really nifty! I’ve seen the Spencer’s use it to pull gravel off the grass. I think it would be handy either way. 😊
