Scooter Braun made a deal on Sunday to purchase Big Machine Label Group. This means his company would acquire all music created under said label including the first six Taylor Swift albums. In the post she states she found out about this news like the rest of us when it hit the Internet and that she was “sad and grossed out” by it. She went on to talk about how Scooter had bullied and manipulated her for years. Once posted, it immediately received mixed criticism. Halsey came out in support on Twitter praising Taylor and writing she is the reason Halsey writes her own music now. Even BFF Todrick Hall came out to support in a big way. And there were people who came to Scooter’s defense as well. Justin Bieber wrote a long and lengthy instagram post claiming Scooter has always been there for her. Even Demi Lovato jumped in to defend Scooter as one of his new clients, she wrote on instagram “he’s a good man”

Justin post needs to be addressed. First, that was the absolute worst apology you could’ve given someone. An apology that says “I’m sorry... BUT” is nonsense. Second, it is almost completely hypocritical. He is a narcissist man. He twisted that post in such a way to make himself look good. He says “banter back and forth on social media I don’t believe solves anything” while posting that on a public forum. Third, Justin knew exactly what he was doing by posting this. He shames Taylor for “using her fans to attack Scooter” but that is EXACTLY what Justin was doing by posting that. Justin is not stupid and knows his fans can be ruthless. If he genuinely thought a phone call would suffice, he would have done so.

3. Taylor claims this as “bullying” when she very well knows about what was going to happen. If she did have an issue with them buying her label, she could voice it out with scooter or somebody but no. She just wants sympathy and people just don’t look at the backstory. Her accusations are just pointless.

I might get some hate for his but I have a complete opposite opinion I guess. But, if Scooter is actually the guy Taylor claims for him to be, why aren’t people coming out about it?
