Here's the story of Stingy Jack if you're wondering. Keep in mind this is mythology though so this story has many versions, this is simply the one I've heard.
Stingy Jack had a reputation of being a deceitful man with a tendency of manipulation. His reputation was so widespread that the Devil had heard of him and so he went to see if Jack lived up to his reputation. Typical of Jack, he was drunk and stumbling along a cobblestone path when he met the Devil, and he knew his time had come. Jack asked for ale before he went to hell and the Devil saw no reason to decline his request so they went to the local pub. So after drinking his fill in the pub he asked the Devil to settle the tab and he convinced the Devil to turn into a silver coin which impressed the Devil. When the Devil turned into a coin, Jack put him in his pocket which had a crucifix in it which prevented the Devil from escaping. Jack gave the Devil a choice, to stay a coin forever, or to spare Jack 10 more years, and the Devil was forced to agree. 10 years later on the same date Jack tricked the Devil he came back for Jack's soul. Jack told the Devil that he was hungry and wished only to fill his belly before he was sent to hell. The Devil agreed and climbed a nearby tree for apples as Jack surrounded the base with crucifixes, trapping the Devil on the tree. Jack asked that his soul would never be sent to hell and the Devil was once again forced to agree. When Jack finally died and prepared to enter heaven he was denied entry by God, who told him he had lived a life full of sin and he could never enter. Jack then journeyed to hell and was once again denied entry as the Devil, grinning, reminded Jack of the deal they made. Stingy Jack, the man who tricked the Devil twice, was now forced to walk the realm between worlds with only an ember inside a turnip to light his way.

I grew up with Halloween, but even as a kid, I sensed there was more to it than simply the fun of dressing up in costumes and gathering candy, as much as I loved those things (what kid doesn't?). Now as a Pagan, it's very important to me that people understand the traditions behind this festival and that it has nothing to do with Devil worship. Thank you for mentioning Samhain in your video. Blessed be.

All these "holidays" (holy (my ass) days) originated in Babylon and Egypt. Look at Washington DC from a bird point of view mollusks and a pentagram. Homages to the sun god Ra or Jesus or Zeus or Azazel or Marduk whatever you wanna call him. He is the baphomet.

I got a friend who is big time Pagan. I always give her a hard time about worshiping the devil. But I think their is lots of cool Pagan stuff. Halloween. The dumb supper. Christmas and Easter. My favorite holidays are all very Pagan in their roots. I even came up with my own sort of Summer festival. Celebrate it every year. I love Easter candy. About 7 years ago. I somehow declared that biting the head of off a choclate bunny made it summer. Which has has lead to many a cold say in my shorts in early march when I finally get my hands on a bunny. I love the pagans mythology. It's so rich and cool. To this day. I'm still trying to figure out a intresting reason why that would cause it to be summer. To add to the fun belief.

I've read somewhere that during Samhain when the fomorians ruled the Tuatha de Dannan and the Fir Bolg on and off they would tax 2/3rds of their money, 2/3rds of their agriculture and 2/3rds of their children. As many know Fomorians we're monsterous, scary looking beings in most cases, and when the veil was thinnest during Samhain they Fomorians would come to take the taxes, and the children, so they would dress up their young in terrifying costumes so that they would blend in with the Fomorians for one night of the year, and they could keep their children. Once the child grew up, they were no longer required to wear the costumes annually as they would not be taken for they were too old.
It was a cool tale i heard somewhere, I think Brehan Law Academy told it, but I'm not certain. It's a cool thought on it that I just thought I'd share 😄

I'm from Argentina where Halloween is not a tradition at all. But since some years ago, people, mainly kids, celebrate it little by little every year. What's more, I teach its origins at school where I work so as children and families know its real origin. I've always decorated my house since my childhood and I love to prepare some special food for that night. Then we mix it up with the Dia de Muertos celebration typical from Mexico. That way we have a three-day celebration.

@@anthonyjat1964 Wow!!! What a mixture of cultures... I also love cultures and their traditions. We, at home, generally celebrate everything: Halloween, Christmas, Rosh Hashannah, Day of the Dead, Easter, Valentine's Day, Chinese new year, St. Patrick's Day... and obviously our special days such as Independence day, 25 de mayo, Friend's day, etc.

Halloween is a interesting season me personally like Christmas more but for me Halloween wasn’t that bad , it just need more songs like 3 Day Before Halloween and Halloween Night that songs could be unique shame it was ever be made . But Lantern And ghost was my favorite part of the Halloween in Halloween history part .

So even if our intentions is pure(which is just to have fun, and to "spook around"), is it still demonic???

Last time i checked, eating loads of candy and scaring people didn't warrant eternal damnation; diabetees perhaps, but not a dip in the lake of fire🔥Happy Halloween, have fun!

Nope. Only way you would be demonic is if you were summoning demons to kill people. If not then you're good.
