well better than Windows 10... to pay 200$ for something that actually has proven it self to break it self, your files and your work flow any any random moment... or puts you in "beta testers" if you do what any "normal person" (meaning even tech illiterate) would do before working: "manually updating"... we should "get payed" 2000$ to use it cause free is too high of a price when you consider potential losses...
snarky down talk aside, when i looked it up i was ready to pay up to 50$ and expected 30$... when i saw 200$, all it's flaws felt a lot amplified since i could probably make 3/4 of a low spec PC with that cash... so i can say, Windows 7 is the last windows they made. next Upgrade path will be Linux Mint (Based on Ubuntu) or Manjaro Linux (Based on Arch). both are free and on Par with Windows 7! (and i mean gaming, Desktop-wise they nailed it a couple years ago.)
The EpicSlayer7 SSS bruh you can just install win10 and not activate it, its honestly better than activated win10 because none of the microsoft bloatware gets installed without activation, literally free if you just download the media creation tool from microsoft and install without activating
personally as someone who’s been in the IT field for almost a decade, I absolutely despise linux, every distribution I’ve tried has been a goddamn nightmare in terms of UX design, I’m no fan of microsoft but at least windows UX makes sense

With all respect to people who like 10, for me it feels like an experimental ill-functioning system, also I heard that recently the updates are making problems more than fixing them and one time it updated it self without permission, and that's no good for me.
I honestly kind of figured that the IRL Battlestations that VTubers use would be more utilitarian and mundane, and it'd be naive to expect that the personality that they portray on streams would carry over to real life, let alone their PC set-up. But between Roboco and several other Vtubers that have shown theirs off I am totally wrong; their set-ups look exactly like what you'd initially expect; cutesy and girly as can be.

I prefer the Proteus Core/G502. The metal wheel and that you can unlock it so the wheel autoscrolls is a gigantic help both in daily use and gaming. The thumbrest is also really nice when you do a lot of work so your thumb doesn't slide along the mat all the time. It also has a very good balance between amount of buttons and comfort (by far the most comfortable mouse I've had, too light mice can be annoying)

Are you using monitors, cans, or both? If you don't need a dedicated monitor out and just want effects, then you could do an MG06X instead of an AG06. $130 USD (Sweetwater and Amazon are the same price, right now) instead of $200 USD.
I don't know your budget or specific use case, so YMMV.

I'll look em up when I actually have the budget for it. I have never used an audio interface ever, I just directly record stuff on using my condenser mic.

@@ronaldt2339 uhhmm. ok that's a pretty logical reason for vtubing that requires good specifications and maybe using the 2D drive application alone might already be too heavy when combined with other tasks such as playing games. and then have to record the movements of the face continue to process streams and maybe other things that I don't know.

as long as you are willing to use off the shelf component (so minus any custom order parts) that sounds about right... 2 months if you don't have any streaming gear at all and start from scratch

PC is prob 2k or so dunno her HD & SSD count to then few hundred for the audio setup, monitors, then ducky keyboards range from $75 -$ 125+ the custom one she has on top oof
then her table to all them plushies prob are $20 or something, all around tho big OOF
Her PC alone is $3000 (amazon prices - specs are in the description of her original video).
Her audio interface is comparably cheap. You can get the Yamaha AG06 for 100-150, but we don't know which mic she's using. Could be some high-end mic for a few hundred.
Add to that the 3 monitors, stream deck, peripherals with custom jobs and a healthy guess would be close to 5000 USD, depending on the monitors close to 6000.
dunno bout the monitor cannot see the type and I don't know anything about stream deck, but I'm pretty sure the monitor alone won't cost 💲5k in my country. for PC wise, go with amd Ryzen it's far cheaper n more powerful.
Ducky keyboard is kinda expensive but the bright side is they have a cute customization of the keycap.
If only there was a way to translate "kawaii-mono" into English accurately.
