Not to compete, to steal their scholarships and rewards. There is the incentive of money and fame driving these opportunist predators motivations. It wasn't to be accepted or fit in. Gender confused trying to fit in are never noticed and have lived among us already for decades. It is the narcissist using the cloak of LGBTQ for predatory gain.
It is a form of cheating.
It only worked because men and women, boys and girls, are biologically different. Not just culturally different. Not just educated to be different. it is easy when you are anonymous in the comments section on CZcams, we all think we would be brave and do the right thing. it is a different matter when it is face to face standing up against the administration, other students etc when you are a teenager and it might affect your university education, the reality is most people wouldn't stand up. some of these people are zealots and can be aggressive, they think they are fighting Nazis

You should have boycotted with every other girl on that team. Every team you swam against should have boycotted
Safety in numbers. That means not a one of them was a leader. They just sat huddled in a group complaining instead of putting a foot down or even fighting back. Sheep afraid of the whip and refusing to understand they could wield the whip themselves. The schools abused their power with their flock of well-trained obedient sheep. The women could have at least stood in the water and refused to swim. They swam and went along. You have options when they threaten you. Like filing a police report for sexual harassment trying to force you to undress in front of what was an intact male. I think that is sexual exploitation, forcing them to compete for Thomas's sadist sexual fantasies- evidence exposed on his own social media where he belittles women, which would have been strong evidence in court. No need to wonder how the NXIVM sex cult in Albany NY existed unchecked for so many years. I think its former members are part of the erasure of women's rights going on now. The group brought to re-educate the girls sounds like NXIVM re-education.

Unfortunately, until the women do this, it won't stop. It doesnt matter what supportive men or anyojr else say. Until the actual women involved in the events just boycott it, nothing will change. Imagine if every single female swimmer, volleyball player, or other athlete just refused to participate at a sponsored or regulated event. Money would be lost, medals not given, etc. THEN something would change. There is a cost to doing this, of course, but that's what it will take.

Great synopsis and realistic story about stolen valor & the needs of the few outweighing the needs of many biological female athletes. Female college coeds are women not *girls* like in primary & high schools. You never hear males over 18 referred to as *boys* or still on a boys team. Infantilism of adult females needs to end! Referring to females over 18 years old as *girls* sound strange & foreign to us older folks, military veterans.

What a stunningly articulate young lady. She's a great spokesman for this issue and I wish her well in her journey and fight for truth and free speech. One misstep that doesn't take away from Paula's powerful message, is YAF's use of Will Thomas's faux-female name in the video's headline. The male division isn't really just for males. It's really "open". That is, if a female chose to compete in the male division they could do so. The reality is women generally can't compete successfully in the male division, so they don't. Females and males are built differently and that's a good thing. I don't think anybody thinks Lia Thomas shouldn't compete. He just needs to do so in the male or "open" division.

I supported her until this. I've been dismissed from my late 20s for not being "young people," so MY opinion and knowledge doesn't matter. I noticed that William waited to take enough estrogen to grow his chest and I have to assume that was because it would cause drag in the water. Maybe he was not taking any estrogen as is the "standard" for one claiming they are transitioned vs. still just a dude. But, does any one think for one minute that the university or the collegiate swim association drew his blood and measured his hormones????? I'm pretty sure there is a tox screening for the female swimmers and also a test to make sure none of the females are doping with testosterone as that is illegal in sports (even to the extent that Floyd Landis was disqualified in the Tour when his blood sample showed elevated levels of testosterone for a male).

I don't know about the blockers.
I am not a doctor so I can't talk intelligent about the medication and what it does.
But if the technology gets better and the surgery gets better and the medication gets better, and we have psychiatrists that are trained in dealing with gender identity, the child and the doctor and the psychiatrist will have to decide if they think it's a good idea to go ahead with actual surgery and hormone replacement therapy and hormone blockers.
From the trans people that I have spoken with the biggest concern that they have is not the medication but rather the surgery.
Breast implants are really easy so even dentists can do implants.
And I think that it's important for some people to have them so that they look the way they think they should but I would personally want to wait until I was an adult before having the breast implants if at all.
But the number one concern I hear is that they worried about loss of sexual function and feeling.
the nerve endings once they are cut can never be restored.
So taking the skin of the penis and cutting it so that you retain the maximum amount of nerve ending connections from the root, and use the skin to form the lips and use the tip skin to form the clitoris it's very very complicated and requires a very skilled neurosurgeon who knows exactly where to cut and uses the minimal number of cuts so that you have all the feeling remain in the new vagina and clitoris so that you can have orgasms.
And in speaking with trans women who have gone through the surgery they all say that they cannot achieve an orgasm without using the AC powered magic wand industrial size vibrator.
Now in talking with biological women I have had many of them tell me the exact same thing that they cannot reach orgasm any other way except using that same industrial vibrator.
So I don't know what to make of that.
But my biggest concern is the same as everyone else that I've talked to that the surgery needs to be done by an expert to preserve the sexual feeling in the new vagina and especially the clitoris.
Personally I think if the child has a good relationship with their parents that they would talk to them and tell them what they wanted as early as they could.
But just like with many gay men that were in very oppressive restrictive punishing households there was no talking to their parents or their friends or their pastor.
If you don't believe that people can be gay then there's really no way you can talk to them and you just have to wait until you're 18 and leave home and go somewhere that there's a large gay community that will accept you.
I personally worked at an adult movie theater and bookstore when I was 18 years old and I knew nothing about the gay community and I had been raised that they were bad people and going to hell and I was treated very well by all of them and I was friends with them and I learned very quickly that they were much better people than my family or my friends.
It was the first time that anyone did anything nice for me and trusted me and I was really shocked that someone that didn't know me would be nice to me just because they were a nice person.
And one of the guys I went to school with he worked at the other adult bookstore.
I still remember my 18th birthday and I got on the city bus and wrote it down to the bookstore and it was this little building under a bridge that had all these big huge red warning signs about you had to be 18 in order to enter and I remember being terrified to go in and I had my wallet and my driver's license out as I opened the door and the nice guy that owned the place sitting behind the counter I said to him do you need to see my license and he said no I believe that your 18.
I told him it was my birthday and that I had never been in one of these places and I always wanted to see what it looked like and he showed me around and I spent a couple hours in there and it really did change my life for the better.
Our City had three adult bookstores and an adult theater and the city said after many years that we were bad influences and they took wrecking balls to all of our businesses and the city went downhill really fast after that and the crime went through the roof.
We were open 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year and we had a huge Marquee and the front was all lit up and we had one-way glass mirror doors and we would keep an eye on the street and we prevented a lot of crime and once we were gone the criminals just rampaged downtown.
I just saw so many people that were publicly saying how bad gay people were and they were in the booths with the g********** at night and they would go right back to saying how bad gay people were after they had their anonymous gay hookups.
People just need to be who they are and be honest about it and we would have a much better country.
