Classy, intelligent, humble... Alex & Victoria (and their art) speak to me in a way that no other musicians can. I aspire to become a musician thanks to them as well.
"The goal is to never lose the feeling that made you get excited about the idea in the first place" This is perfect, translates to other forms of art/creative expression as well
I love how honest they are, consistently themselves, authentic & true to their changing & evolving. Not everyone has the magic, and bond of these two. you can sense the connection - the admiration they have for one another & their strategically, yet carelessly creation of the music. thank you for being honest, down to earth musicians. much love to you Beach House.
@@garneroutlaw1 I didn't get a creepy vibe at all. Is it because you know that Charlie Rose has perhaps a creepy side? I didn't see creepiness here, though.
I've just seen them an hour ago, here in Lima, Perú, I'm just amazed and touched by their presence and music, I barely can't stop hearing their melodies in my head
i just saw them the other night in a small city in san diego, and they said in the middle of the performance that it was their dream venue, alex said “its like we’re in a bubble in space with no light”, which it was, 400 people max, and it was amazing
I just seen them perform in NY yesterday and it's funny Alex made that comment about how it's the city that puts a lot of pressure on people. I wonder if they were feeling that last night. But the crowd was amazing. There was a moment where Victoria's voice faltered for a second and the crowd was so supportive and she got right back into it, singing a beautiful high note.
These two are such a powerhouse but at the same time a nice calm home/white picket fence out front. Immense talent and then some on all aspects of Beach House.
First heard them back in 2016. I just wasn't connecting. Tonight I remembered Depression Cherry's album artwork and it's title, so I looked it up and bam. I hear some Sufjan Stevens and M83 in their sound and I just love it.
I really love Beach house, and Victoria is beautiful, but it's so sad to see all of these worship comments. She's just a human being, it's so lame when people worship and idolize artists. The music is magnificently beautiful, but in the words of Biden, " come on man" !!!
They’re probably 100% not reading this, but you should know that she announced on a podcast recently that they have been working on new music for the past year.
