For the Ale, the supply chain is Barley field, then Malt building that turns the barley into malt, and then the brewery extension to the burgage plot turns the malt into beer (or ale).
You can build just the manor house, and then go into the castle planner at any time and then build out the walls and towers later when you get wealthier/have more supplies on hand to build with.
For the manor house, once you build the walls around it, yo can no longer build anything inside the walls. So make sure any buildings you want to build and upgrade that you do that before you build the walls around them. once the walls are done (planed), any buildings inside can't be upgraded anymore. only the buildings from the castle builder menu can be built inside the castle walls.
I like that you moved the manor. It looks better higher on the hill and it makes more sense defensively.
Instead of building the smithy building, you could upgrade one of your burgage plots to have the blacksmith artisan addition.
I think you should demolish the livestock trader and build the tavern the middle of the old village, as it would looks songood there.
You can use the forester to plant trees in those little awkward corners between burgage plots like at 40:30
yeah figured that later, really good stuff!
You can build only 1 manor house per region. So once you claim a second region you will be able to build a manor house in that region.
YOu need to make crop rotation, it makes the field more fertile if you plant wheat and next year you put it fallow it will give you more wheat next year, you only have so little fertility on the fields and thats why you have so small amount of food 😊
The development points are region specific. So when you claim a new region, that region will start with no development points. and as the town you build there grows, it will get it's own development points for you to spend. Each region is capped at 6 development points, and you can't refund them once spent. So be careful what you spend your development points on.
You should have built the manor on the high ground. It is odd to build one in a bit of a valley.
It's good that you're learning the game, but one thing you still really need to learn is how to lower the game sounds. Either lower them in the game settings or in editing.
Yaaaay more Manor Lords! 😁
I was screaming at the screen about the Malt house, but you got there :P
Haha. Classic Rudi.
I think to get the fertility of the farms up you should put in crop rotation so you don't always plant wheat in the same field as well as a few fallow cycles to let the farm land recover
I know, but I figured out, you need much much more people working in Farms or push for the plow. It just takes ages otherwise. You need a good variety of fields so every year you have crops!
😂 Haha, I think my comment got auto modded because I used a combination of words and it misunderstood the intended meaning but I'm awarding you my personal *Best Village Honor* as yours is the best I've seen.
Fyi, I used some of these words..... (Try hard)...... (GER MAN) in combination with the word (UL TRA) and American, also using the word butcher. This in reference to the styles of some other CZcamsrs attempts at building a village.
Gesundheit!
Hatschi
BTW, I am awarding you my personal *Best Village* on *CZcams Honor;* as I have watched a ton of Manor Lords content since pre-release. I have had the misfortune of watching many Americans butcher village life with grid layouts and an ultra-German try hard building a historical replica and just not understanding this games organicness.
thanks hehe :-) Yeah i tried to pay tribute to the organic way of doing it!
I was to late to get in on the testing unfortunately so Im sitting here counting down the days until its release.
love this game!!! excited to follow along!
theres going to be much more good stuff :)
Great video
be careful about logging out your berry patch. I believe that if you log out the trees in the berry patch the berries go away. just like the deer do.
jup, i had that in a different map, its not the smartest thing to do :D
@@RudiRennkamel 🤣
Way to keep the medieval realism by keeping the church's tithe really high lol
bahaha
For the algorithm
What happened to you hunters? Miners? Blacksmith?
Is the cheetah free on planet zoo?
not sure why you ask here, but yeah the cheetah is in the base game
@@RudiRennkamel thank you for telling Also im a big fan of your build
🤩❤
