    ➡amzn.to/3Lr8hc3
    The Ping Hoofer Lite is a small and light weight golf stand bag. It weighs only 5 pounds, or 2,27 kilos. Compact in size, it still has enough room for all you need on the golf course. It has 7 pockets and 4 full-length dividers for your clubs. It is one of the best carry bags (stand bags) on the market, and is durable and good looking with many different color options. In the review, I show you all the pockets and show you all the great features on the award winning Ping Hoofer Lite.

    One thing that is unique to ping carry bags with stands. On the stand mechanism there is a little strap that connects the stand to the shoulder straps. So when you throw the bag over your shoulder it pulls the legs up tight to the bag. This prevents the legs from ever drooping. Ping is the only brand I am aware of that does this so unlike other brands the legs will never start drooping with age.

      I actually didn't know this. It's pretty cool. I still love my bag, and as you explain the legs seem as good as new. I personally love that they hide the folding mechanism inside the bag, and that it doesn't stick out.

    I own this bag (same color) and it is excellent. Walked 7 rounds in 7 days in Ireland and it was an easy carry. The one round I rode a cart it rained & the rain cover was fantastic. An extremely well thought-out bag for carry or cart.

    I've owned a couple of Hoofer Lite bags. I almost exclusively walk & carry my bag when I play. I've noticed a spot on the seam above the "back pad" that wears prematurely. I've used Ping carry bags for about 30 years and I love the stand system.

    I still use my first and only bag, it’s a ping. Over ten years old. Folks still say they want a ping bag after looking over mine. Mines unfortunately starting to get beat up and I’m currently on the hunt of any type of upgrades to bags from my current bag….. I haven’t found much from current bag brands but from this video, it still seems like ping bags are superior. I just want a simple, light bag that does it all. They nailed it here.

    • @GolfDuff
      @GolfDuff  Před 2 lety

      Yeah, Ping makes amazing gear, not only bags I would say. My next bag might also be a Ping. Today I would have taken a bigger bag since I play with 13 clubs. The Hoofer maybe, the Hoofer lite can be a little tight for my oversized golf grips.

    I like the Ping Hoofer 2 from 2014/2015 because of the two pockets behind the big ball pocket. Having 2 smaller pockets instead of one larger pocket makes stored small things easier to find like tee's, ball mark repair tool, ranger finder watch, favorite couple balls not mixed in with found balls, etc... I don't really like the new pocket layout on the newer hoofer bags. Ping is the only stand bag I will buy because the stand system is strapped to the shoulder straps so legs never droop with age.

    • @GolfDuff

    Great review! I've been using an original Hoofer Lite from 2007 and it's finally time to replace it. Santa is bringing me a new Hoofer Lite - I'm just concerned about going from 8 sections for clubs down to five

    • @GolfDuff
      @GolfDuff  Před rokem +1

      I see why downscaling like that can seem concerning. But I went from 14 sections to 5, and I haven´t really had many issues with it. The only thing is that when the bag is in the legs-out position, it can be a little tight in the bottom of it. But as you lift it up again, and the legs go in, the bag opens up, and the clubs fall down to their spot.

    How do you keep the legs closed on your push cart?

    • @GolfDuff
      @GolfDuff  Před 2 lety +1

      Hello Jason! Sorry for the late reply. You need to push down on the bag with some force to make the legs open up, so just having it stand on the pushcart does not put enough force on the plate to open up the legs, plus the straps make the bag just touch the cart slightly. Never had any issues whatsoever with the legs opening up unintentionally. Ping has done a great job with this bag.

    • @GolfDuff
      @GolfDuff  Před 2 lety +2

      It's just a strap with one of those plastic clamps in the end of it so you can hang something in it. Maybe like a rangefinder or something. It is also some smaller pockets in the same place, so you can attach the strap and put the thing in your pocket there for safety. I never use it anyway.
