- Hi everyone!
Welcome to Episode 116 of the Golf Show.
Paul has decided he needs a new carry bag for winter. After gaming the Ping Moonlite bag that he reviewed 2 months ago, he wants a bag with a bit more functionality.
In this episode he reviews the Ping Craz-E-Lite carry bag which weighs in at only 3lbs, this is around half the weight of most carry bags! The bag has a 4 way divider, carbon fibre legs, plenty of pocket space and a little surprise...
But, will this be the bag of Paul's dreams?

Thanks Paul for this very efficient review. I subscribe to your channel !
I like the way you describe the pro/con of the bag, just right. That's cool.
I'm French & I've loved England & English people (1 yr in England as student changes your life for ever 🙂)
As a non-native Englishmen... I like not to hear "amazing" in every sentenses... like many youtubers do 🙂
you deserves more viewers ! All the best !
Hey AP, thank you so much for taking the time to comment and for your very kind words. I hope you enjoy the channel. Check out out back catalogue which covers topics such as a ball fitting with Titleist, on board the Taylormade Tour truck and a. Visitors guide to St Andrews. Great to have you with us on our journey. Best regards, Paul
I'm a big fan of ping bags. Had my series 4 for ages and it's never let me down. Another top review, Paul. Well done. I particularly liked the colourway on that bag. Really stands out from the crowd.
Cheers Kev. I’m enjoying using it.
Excellent review
Thank you. I’m so glad you enjoyed it 👍🏼
I have the Mr Ping Moonlite bag which I find perfect, but that could be because I only carry 8 clubs. I can see there may be an issue if you wanted to carry more, and as you say using midsize grips wouldn’t help. I also have a Callaway Sac, it doesn’t come anywhere near the Ping bags. Nice review of the Craz-E-Lite.
Thanks Robert. I’m becoming a bit of a Ping fan. I’ve no idea why it’s taken me so long! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I wish I could use my moonlite more but since I mostly play in dewy morning conditions, it gets my back wet. Wish there was a mini kick stand like some of the other sunday bags now have
@@lawbinson Hi Rob. I’m really enjoying the Craz-E Lite bag. More pockets and has legs. Check it out
In a previous comment I said that the umbrella stowage would put me off buying it, however ! I have caved in and bought the bag and I love it. Never say never and thanks again for the review
Haha! Thanks for getting back to me Melvyn. I think the weight, the top divider, the hidden rain hood and the number of pockets makes this one a winner. What colour did you go for?
@@GolfShow managed to get black, platinum with white trim for £149
@@melvynrobinson7479 👌🏼 That wasn’t available when I went for the electric blue one, which I really like now. To be honest unless I’ve got a trolley with a brolly stand I don’t usually bother to carry one
@Golf Show same for me, don't carry brolly unless I'm taking out my electric trolly. For winter golf I carry with 8 clubs. Can't beat walking straight to your ball ! and no cleaning trolley wheels after (proper golf )
Looks like the umbrella fastening is a loop at each end of the bag with no sleeve, is this so ? I like a sleeve where you can drop the brolly in on a wet day, it's a pain messing around with a string loop. Think manufacturers do this to save money on materials. This would put me off buying this bag. Good review though
Hi Melvyn. Yes you are correct it’s a loop. I think with the bag being so light any extra weight has been removed. The legs for example don’t have feet, which can be an issue when inside on a floor. I’m still enjoying it. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I had a hoofer a few years ago couldn't get on with it; grips kept jamming at the bottom due to the way the base deployed - is this still an issue?
Hi Alan. So far so good with this. I did hear of issues around 2019/20 that halted production, so hopefully the new bags are ok. They all come with 12 months warranty which gives some peace of mind. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Paul
Is the 4 way divider full length?
Hi Dustin. Yes it is. I’m very happy with the bag
Just to fit your new PING irons in? 😉😉😉
Whatever do you mean 😂
Ping carry bags are the best on the market imo. I’m currently using the Hoofer Monsoon which is nice and light too
@@GolfShow In my best Elmer Fudd voice..."Shhhhhhhh!
Be very, very quiet!" 😉

Can you separate the straps?
Hi Joel. Yes you can, but neither strap is detachable.
@@GolfShow I know that’s an improvement from the old paying model. Sometimes it’s nice to disconnect the straps and you can carry it as if it was a one strap bag.
I'm 70 year old Aussie and love to carry my clubs. However, I cannot stand hearing wankers who ponse around the course with all their clubs rattling away!
