- I witnessed one of the best sunrises of my life, yet struggled to photograph it. I had an amazing encounter with a Bull Elephant who led me to his herd who walk all around my car. I used a wide angle lens to capture the grander of the Bull Elephant.

Beautiful video, the encounter with the bull elephant was epic!!
Good for you to just sit and savor. So many people miss the experiences due to taking bad photos and selfies that mean nothing.
I have so many great shots that have been only in my mind for years.
One favorite. the astonishing beauty of a single waterbuck at sunrise, it's coat glistening. It's calm, contagious.
Could we have some warthogs and more birds, please?
waterbuck
this video makes me want to go on a Safari. Excellent.
Elephants are my favourite. What a great photo!
I've been soaking in safari photography videos as I prepare to go on my first-ever safari in May.
I would like to thank you for your approach. Rather than delivering a rapid-fire series of tips, you've given me an ACTUAL sense of a game drive experience, the good and the not so good. You've given me an important reminder not to be constantly shooting, to make sure to take in the place, and to remember that wildlife encounters can be magical but not necessarily photo-worthy.
Liked before even watching because you just know it’s going to be a great video.
Beautiful photos once again!
Thank you so much I’m glad you like them
Enjoyed your relaxing game drive. My Driver had to leave out by 6am Kenya time if we were to get good sunrise 🌅 pictures at low elevations and great composition
Eyy man really appreciate the drop, great work and ama keep looking out for the next one. you make me feel at home away from home thanks, mate.
So beautiful!!! I'm going in June and I can't wait. Thanks for your video.
thanks for the effort to make this video.
Good one!
Great video! Thanks for sharing, Question, what camera/lens setup did you used for blogging and filming video?
Thank you. I use a Fuji XT4 with a 10-24mm f/4 lens
I actually really like how bite sized and simple your tips are. Can you please also talk about the vlog video cam that you use and how you secure it on these bumpy drives? And please show more footage of you with the camera in action so we can see how your body moves with the camera!
I use a clap with a ball head on it to secure the video camera. I hope this helps
I Dedicatedly see your Kenya Videos Just love it , wanna see Tona Bora video if you found them.
It's the Tano Bora. And they're the Nne Bora now that one of the cheetahs has left the coalition.
Beautiful video , behind the scenes camera ?? Microphone?
Relaxing video ... great atmosphere.
Great elephant in black and white! What program do you use for this?
I use lightroom for images and premiere pro for video. Thank you so much
Hi there - heading to Kenya in a few weeks. Wondered what you used for video BTS and mic? Great shots and video - as a Nikon D850 owner wondering whether to get a Canon R5 or similar for fast focus - have you found the D850 solid for eye focus?
Do people ever bust out their 50/85/135mm primes when animals get closer? I know the practicality of a zoom but the quality of shots with primes if you can get them is a whole other level.
Felix, there are NO crowds around you. What month was this?
The best time to go is November - May as the crowds are way down. You don't have the migration but it is better than 30 cars around 1 lion I think
You can ruin a stunning image with a single autograph.
