Nightwish does not use samples. They record what Tuomas composes with members of the London Symphony Orchestra and the choral parts with an adult and childrens choir out of London as well.
Yes I know that, that's why it sounded surprising that some parts sounded like sampled instruments. As I said later it's not a bad thing to use samples or to imitate sampled instruments with real ones, it's actually an interesting way to create some effects that the same instruments can't always do in a live setting 😊

Great reaction to a great song, and you manage also to pronounce the name of Floor in the right Dutch way :-) I love how the singing changes between more legato and more staccato, if that is right terms, and I agree with you that melody does remind a bit of the song Pan.

Well, hello Psamathes. Never heard any of your reactions before. I think this is a song you need to listen to in the quiet moments before dawn as the birds begin to awaken. There in that time, you understand more of the message.
