  • Have you heard of red light therapy and its supposed superhuman benefits per Andrew Huberman and Joe Rogan. Well, as an investigator, I couldn't resist putting this therapy to the test for 30 days straight. I was skeptical at first, but what I discovered was truly mind-blowing. The effects were shockingly real and went beyond just physical improvements. Join me on this journey as I share my investigative findings and reveal whether red light therapy is the real deal or just another fad. You don't want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind experiment!

    I've been using a Red/Near Infra combo panel for maybe 5 years now. Never noticed
    a energy increase or better sleep. Would have been interesting to know what time
    of day he used it. I use mine in the early AM. Only thing I have noticed is my face looks
    much younger than my 72 years. People that have known me for a long time
    freak out when they see me. No wrinkles with smooth face at 72. "You haven't aged
    at all" is what I often hear.

      Often everyday in the early am before shower. 20-25 minutes. Seated very close facial (with goggles) 3 min. front 1min. head turned. Seated each side 1 min. Back up to panel 1-2 inches seated. Standing position very close (want the heart to be radiated) . 1 to 2 min each side standing as well the back. Standing on stool front sides and back of legs 1 min each. Lastly seated with head bowed to get top of head radiated (1-2 inches) for brain radiation. 5 minutes. Near infra red penetrates bone.
      I try to do this every morning. Hope this answers your inquiry . 🙂@@Aurla-R2-D2

Manik covers all aspects that concern me and this is the first that suggests books I can read. I had already ordered one from Amazon for just $50.00, but now I'm afraid I've wasted my money. I'll try it out, but might end up returning it and getting the smaller version of the brank Manik recommends. I can't swing the cost of the larger one right now. Is the $50.00 one useless ? ? ?

    I settled in on 15 minutes per day as my sweet spot. More than some level reduces benefits, so it is worth playing with your exposure duration to see what gives you the most benefit. It may not be the same for everyone.
    Also, it looks like you use eye protection. This may cause you to miss one of red/NIR light's features ... improvements to vision. You might want to try hitting your face with eyes closed but no eye coverings and see if you notice anything different in your vision in the next few hours. It is quite noticeable for me. Sharpness and color intensity both improve and sometimes it seems like my presbyopia is reduced slightly. Worth a try, anyway, I think.

      @Bmount_35 Před rokem +10

      I’m not sure if this is really true for some people. Raising body temp before sleep is not ideal. Most people sleep better when they are cool. Not that you can’t prevent that but I’d say cool shower not ice cold

    • @kimberlyf4888
      @kimberlyf4888 Před rokem

      @@Bmount_35 Hot water can actually decrease internal body temperatures (if not done for too long). This seems counterintuitive, but think of it like a hallway thermostat - if the air gets warm, the thermostat revs up the A/C to cool it down. So, when your outer body feels warmth, you system actually cools your internal temperature to counteract that. That's why warm baths before bed are so effective.

    RLT, in the form of NIR healed my plantar fascitis , i used it 10cm away from my foot for 10 minutes daily x 7, had a break for a week, did that again for another week with minimal results, then again for another week and BOOM pain suddenly went and has never returned over 3 years

  • @heureuse8568
    @heureuse8568 Před 11 měsíci +22

    Yes, I've always thought about NIR therapy as a pain reliever and skin rejuvenator, but it's so much more than that.
    Your face and body looks amazing, and you're literally glowing energy!
    I've red about other reviewers that lost weight around their waist as well, it's crazy!

    In regards to red light therapy for my face helped me reduce my pore size and the slight wrinkles on my face. It does make your skin glow.
    Now the question I wonder about is the red light therapy are the belts they sell for weight loss, I purchased two and don't know if it works. One is for my chin/arm and the other is for my waist/back or wherever I can wrap it around.
    So I am also am also eager to try it along with full body one.
    I purchased my red light belts at a coolsculpting esthetic center and they said it was not safe for people with heart problems or diabetes. What's your take on safety for those with heart problems, blood pressure problems, and diabetes like my mom?

      Do not apply sunscreen. You want the light to penetrate through. Sunscreen protects you from UV (ultraviolet) rays. This is LED. Some even say to wear minimal clothing to bare skin. More skin exposure, the better.

      8 months ago, I used for my shoulder pain a similar device as shown here, just a smaller model. After three 20 minute sessions, the pain significantly decreased. After 10 sessions I am pain free and my mobility is back to normal. Before, I could not raise my arm above my head, but now that’s no problem anymore. I bought my device online “dermatech DT 300” for a very reasonable price. I hope that helps.
