It's a speculative asset but not an investment as it does not generate cash flows

@@TheWatchCEOplease allow me to tell you something that is not written in the dictionary, smartass. Buying watches (or NFTs, or stamps, or tulips) hoping to sell them to another person at a higher price is not a proper investment, it's just a speculative possession. A proper investment asset is something that has a fungible and possibly increasing value in itself like a house, stocks, bonds, gold (as currency) etc.

@@MrPasqual1 Sorry, I just saw your comment. You're wrong again. You say something isn't a proper investment, doesn't mean it isn't. You're not an oracle of investment and I doubt you're an authority of any kind. Same applies with your stocks or shares. You buy them and hope to sell them for more in X amount of time - so according to your own words, it's not an investment right? Watches have been increasing in value at a higher rate than any stocks, shares, gold etc. in the last couple of years. Anything is a speculative possession, because you are not certain they will increase in value, you hope that in the next coming years something will increase in value, but you have no guarantee. Tosser.
