      @@sevenwonders1717 No doubt on that. He was a legend in that regard in my book. I hated seeing him get injured and never getting to return under center, because I really thought he had a lot of potential there.

      That 2002 season just hit different, they won with defense and an offense that struck when it needed to.

      It's amazing that he caught that game winning pass against Wisky in '11 and then played a crucial role in the amazing title run in 2014 - 2015 season.

      Cooper was the worst. "OSU lines up in the I-formation... and Xichigan stops them at the line for another win over OSU." So disappointing in those years.

      @8thaccount535 Před rokem

      We were insanely talented in the Cooper years, he just wasn't a good enough coach to win the big games. There was a 6 year window ('93-'98) we could have won National Championships.

    My NY Giants offense is going to look very similar to OSU offense that Meyer,and Day is running with OSU. It's not going to look exactly like it immediately,but Brian D. is slowly building a very dangerous offense,and our O-line is just about finished.

    Was this the season FSU destroyed Ohio State in the 98' Sugar Bowl 31-14 and both Jackson & Germanie shared the QB position. Also
    Michigan hid in the Rose Bowl and claimed a co-championship and Nebraska took home the Crystal football and BCS national championship?

      There was no bcs the year UM and Nebraska were co-champions. It’s why they didn’t play. BCS did not start until the following year. It’s too bad would have been a great game. We’ll never know who would have won

  • @nedstewart1

    Buckeves were not good enough to make it to the playoffs, and should have beaten a non playoff team much worst if they did. Their was a reason they did not make the playoffs. They were not goog enough! That's right. Ohio State was not goog enough. Now that they have a new DC
    they arrogantly believe they are now the best team in the nation w/o even playing a game yet.

      Close Tommy but yet so far... Espn now runs college football in partners with the wokerotti. ANY narratives past or present flows thru this new (8 yrs) entity. If you apply math or linear (a to b) to 70's college football then 2020 now its unwatchable. 2 Quick examples: Ga beaten at home by unranked SC...result? Stayed in the top 5. OSU vs Clem 3... Bovado (vegas book) calls the game exactly even though 2 TD were posted/removed from the board. You will need a new boogyman, DO NOT BET, or just watch conf play/championship then move on.

      @@mickey34jb during this whole “2 decades of dominance” narrative OSU has built vs michigan there’s only 3-4 games where they actually dominate UM. Every other game however, is decided by a shit call in the 4th quarter. From pass interference call on a pass that was overthrown by 20 yards to being given a 1st down after being stuffed an entire yard behind the line of scrimmage, OSU has been gifted 80% of its winning seasons the past 20 years. That’s why their alumni turn out to be scrubs in the NFL, just ask Jacksonville.
