  • Two more America’s Cup AC75s launched in October. Luna Rossa is unveiled in Sardinia while INEOS Team UK are foiling on the Solent. Also in Sardinia was the 52 Super Series finale where home team Azzurra look to secure the season title against the high-powered fleet of grand prix monohulls. We also have all the action from SailGP’s final event of the inaugural season in Marseille, where Team Australia duel rivals team Japan in the final match race. We also head to Malta for the Middle Sea Race and to Trieste, Italy for the biggest race on the planet, the Barcolana. Francis Joyon’s IDEC Sport heads to Asia for a series of four challenges, while the winners of the Rolex World Sailor of the Year awards are announced in Bermuda. And we meet the team behind sailing’s most advanced sustainability laboratory, Energy Observer.

To whomever did the video editing... kudos for doing a much better job of allowing each snippet to run longer! Compared to the previous episode in which snippets were flashing by at the rate of approximately 0.5 seconds each, this episode is much more enjoyable to watch. It's nice to be able to watch 3-4 seconds of each snippet; see the different boats; compare the boats; get a bearing on race conditions; etc. Keep up the good work of allowing each snippet to run 3-4 seconds!

AC boats look great. Already proving they are not as fast as the SailGP cats even though being much bigger. Still impressive AC boats. I am glad the Cats continued on after the last AC. Maybe next time the AC should let Cats and Monos race against each other, but cats would be to fast especially with the tech now and being 75 long.

Waterline length doesn’t matter when your foiling

So a Moth is going to beat an AC72 or F50 because size does not matter?

@ANDREW FUCHS ok. But I think its like SailGP that they forcedly represent a country that is not, to attract sponsors and get people interested. But I feels so stupid to me.

Do not pay attention to kite technologes at all. But they are the the future of trans-ocean crossings.
Совсем не уделяете внимания кайт-технологиям. А ведь за ними будущее транс-океанских переходов. )

With one total change of point of view every two seconds, this is the most ridiculous video on sailing I'hve ever never seen on a screen ,..
