just finished cleaning mine, i was so afraid it wont turn on again when i do this i delayed it for entire year, but let me tell you one of the fans was so pack with these micro fibers you could not even see the fins of the fan im surprised its still cooled anything, i had a hard time with that thin sheet of copper like tape which was part of the cooler, and the thin cables from the bottom cover for the leds i didnt think i will be able to put them back the first time i removed them but i somehow didt it and everything is working, exept one thing when i put it back i end up with these tiny open washers which must have been under some screws and i never found out where they are from, does somebody perhaps know where these washers belong ?

What is that silver rectangle chip that had the thermal pad on it when the notebook got first opened? What thickness is that pad and how important is it to have the pad there?

Question ! Is it possible to remove the transparent plastic for RGB light on the bottom case ?
I spilled coke on my laptop and some of them got inside the plastic and dried so the light is not as bright as it used to be anymore and i want to clean it up.
Was planning on buying a completely new bottom case but i'm worried that it won't come with RGB light.

@@carminestrianese7013 I know this is 7 months old. Answer would be you will have to move 2 boards in each corner over to new bottom cover. Since rgb is sitting on tiny board in each corner that is removable and held down by a screw. Atleast 2022 model has this, so I hope yours does too.

What did you use there, from 9:19 to 11:50? I had to remove it, because it was dried out and old..but i dont have anything to replace it (besides the fact that i dont even know what it is).

You can connect it back by lifting small tabs on connector and then push cable into connector. If this is now what they are
