  • When I saw this cheap KMART spray mop I couldn't find any reviews so I just had to give it a try myself and share the results with you! at $14 for the spray mop and basic head, I thought this is a great cheap option for those on a budget and also good to try a spray mop out to see how you like it - so I had to test it out for you guys to see too. I'm sure there are one or two others out there that might want to know a bit more about this spray mop before they buy it so today we're doing a full review of this product to come to a overall score out of 5 for this crazy cheap spray mop. I'm focusing on the KMART spray mop not just spray mops generally so really focusing on quality, functionality, aesthetics, environmental factors and of course, price!

    I use the wet one for the walls too…. Have a seperate head labeled for walls. In regards to the head, just buy the Kmart bath ,atm, cut and sew to the right size, you can get 3 from one mat.

    Finally got to watch this. I recently got a vileda spin mop. Love it. I was wondering about one of these mops for walls.

      I've heard great things about the vileda spin mops! Reckon I might have to get one!

      @@shopwithmeaustralia my only tip is flop it flat or it folds on itself. If it’s flat it won’t flop about. Seems to be regardless of whether it’s a vileda or a cheap one. Reject has a spin mop but I went with Vildeda based off the reviews. I read that in a review to have them flat. Glad I did. Honestly loving it. I washed the floors in the starting days of the heavy rain and it was dry in a half hour. I found I didn’t have to use force like I did with my old sponge mop I used to love so it wasn’t exhausting to do and I have got a lot of floor to mop.

    Put hot water in it. Works even better. I have a strike flat spray mop. Use it every day. I proper mop (Oates) with boiling hot water in a bucket (Oates) (that squeezes the mop head) with a hairy mop once a month, I have two fur ruppies. This is why it is often. Watching from Sydney. Oh I left vinegar in the bottle over night and the sprayer stopped working, the acid ate through the plastic. I have put diluted toilet cleaner in the spray bottle...now that really cleaned the floor and left a pleasant smell for a few hours.

      Hey Kath! Thanks so much for the comment and tips! Oh no on the vinegar!!! Was it diluted?! Agree definitely works best with hot water too!! Love the tip of diluted toilet cleaner too ill definitely have to give it a go! Which one you use ? ❤❤

      @@shopwithmeaustralia Yes the vinegar was diluted, I use for the flat mop...Strike. I use for the old fashion hairy mop...Oates. Toilet Cleaner I buy from Aldi....it is a pink liquid, I can never seem to remember what it is called, I think it is the spring flower (because of the name), but this is a green blue colour, which is great on shower mould, I also put in the back of the toilet cistern. Not too bad of a smell, but when I find the pink coloured liquid, hopefully I will remember to tell you.

    I have these and they are brilliant. However, one has started leaking and I find that the fault is in the bottle cap - the rubber valve over it has disappeared! I suspect it fell off the last tie I refilled the bottle.
    Any ideas on solving it? I hate to throw i away just for the cap.

    • @shopwithmeaustralia
      @shopwithmeaustralia  Před rokem +1

      Hey @Nimmi Ragavan maybe try some plumbers tape??

    • @nimmiragavan8290
      @nimmiragavan8290 Před rokem +1

      @@shopwithmeaustralia That is for sealing tap fittings. This is a valve over an air hole that opens and shuts. easy to miss. I think this cap fitting is the weak point in this and other spray mops and easy to loose the valve when refilling bottle.
      Spray mops with spares that provide extra bottles or where you can buy spare bottles would be the way to go.

    Still rocking it? Have you seen the 3in1 mop and bucket?

    • @shopwithmeaustralia
      @shopwithmeaustralia  Před 3 měsíci

      I have actually upgraded to a heavier duty mol and bucket but still like this one for quick wipe downs and small areas! 3 in 1 mop and bucket though I am intrigued 🤔 will have to check it out!

    KMART!!!??? Here in Los Angeles, they’ve been out out of business for many years.... Your post brought back a memory from a 1,000 years ago. I was about 3, my mom and I would visit the Kmart on Whittier Blvd in East L.A. and I remember eating in the store cafeteria. Had to be 1978/79. 🥰🥲

      Haha I love that this video brought back that memory! In Australia kmart has made a huge comeback over the last 10 years, we don't have walmart so kmart is one of our only 'big box' stores! Thanks so much for washing rosemary and thanks for sharing your comment I love it! ❤
