Iv had my steel one 12 month use it mist days drink only coffe and wst is strange its only seems to. Be the base of mug wat gets pitch b lacim using white vinager but thats hard work and as my mug has a heat sencing cap im im glad the stains never go up the side so im thinking i might try it but failing that ill try my fish eashing tablet as my contigo mug never stain at all which is dish eash safe and iv had that for 8 years but only used that wen id trsvel but my cina muhs at home wen u go bissy would let mcoffee go cold do thsts ehi i mosyly use my mug that has a thermomiter built in lid but vinagee. Can take days to clean my.one yest old had wàh cup so my contigo is a better to trsvil with due to can drink from it but with lid on but loving drnture idea will be chesper the dish wásh tab only wish the body of my heat sence one was not had wash lol swings and round abouts lolo

You have no idea how many months I’ve had hard water stains which I have tried a million different things to get it off, watched dozens and dozens of CZcams videos which claim to have the remedy to get it off but didn’t!! Literally nothing, NOTHING made it even budge.. so I used a scale liquid, left it to soak for a little over 24 hours and bang it all came off with a flush, bar a small bit which came off with a little scrub of the toilet brush.. So thank you for this video.. 🙏 ❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏

I just did the dishwasher tablet method on my slightly shadowed ones though I used a powder not tabs. It worked well but I definately think leaving it for 30 or so minutes is important to let the process develop. Next time I need to do it I will try the denture tabs. I dont understand why we end up with this film of "stain" even with daily washing, I guess it is just mineral buildup but I would have thought regular washing would prevent it.

5 minutes is not long enough. A couple hours would be better. What I don't understand is how people let their cups get like this. You've been drinking out of it every day like this? Don't you put your cups in the dishwasher every night?

Completely impressive...and I'm in cause I just got my white mattress out of the dryer and it's more yellow /tinged and couldn't figure why. Was missing baking soda and a good soak before the washing machines hot water.💧 Got it. Thank youuuu so much.

Idk about the downy but I had the gain ones and they didn’t leave any scent in my clothes. I got the ones from family dollar their brand and they work better than the gain. I want to try downy but they are too expensive.

I have a load of t-shirts that I don't wear because they just look too new. I'm hoping to fade them instead of having to go out and buy new stuff. I'm worried though, does this shrink the shirt? i'm assuming the comparison at 6:46 was done on the same day, just with the different sized shirts. but how did the size of the faded shirt compare to its size before fading it? I know this video is a year old but I'm just commenting in case anyone can help

Another hack you can use the Clean & Fresh or the Downey beads for is the back of your toilet. Pour a little in so every time you flush you get a fresh burst of smell goo!!👍 😉 😂

you do NOT need to be using that many tablets for a cup of that size. I have a 24 oz bottle and the most I use is 2.

Its been over two years but I thought I would still comment. Your test was very useful. My mom turned me on to this so I started investigating what to buy (I'm in the US). There seem to be many new variations of this type of product since your test, some really boutique and expensive with complex scents. One thing you touched upon is that Unstoppables isn't a softener. As you've probably already uncovered, Downy now has a new line called Infusions that doubles as both scent and softener. That's what I've been using and am very happy. I may be sensitive to scent but I only use a quarter cap per load maximum. Most times even less and that is plenty of scent for me.

Wow, I've never seen a tumbler that bad! That definitely works. I'm trying a dishwasher tablet right now and if it doesn't work ill be buying some denture tablets. Mine isnt real bad. I do soak it in vinegar and hot water occasionally.

I combined two methods. Liquid soap, hydrogen and baking soda. The stain began to fade almost instantly. I let the curtains soak for about 5 before rinsing.
