One step that's important for high temp bulbs, wipe them off before inserting them into the assembly. Many times, the tiniest bit of oil or dirt will cause them to burn out.

I didn't know about the release pin either. Fords are different. It took me about 15 minutes to replace all 4. Thanks Tyler !

Did you have any problems getting the led light in I got new ones and had some trouble getting them to fit just right

Yes they are a much tight her fit then stock bulbs. I know some companies make low profile bulb housings. May want to try them.
