My son worked with Peter in Manchester and Cardiff, and said he's naturally funny.
Absolute legend. He's way up there with the best, if in fact anyone better. Bullseye parody hilarious and one of my fave. Carshare genius too.
Peter Kay is hands down the funniest comedian the UK has ever produced. He needs to come back to the spotlight now more than ever. The whole country is like Gotham city and we need Fatman!

The thing is, the actual stories themselves aren't really that funny but somehow he makes it hilarious.... him and Billy Connelly can do that, not many others.
It's very likely it's not even a real story. Just lots of little jokes disguised as a "story" (Alan the dwarf projectionist etc), which Peter Kay has always been great at tbh.
They can do it bc they are pommie stand up comedy. The best in the world. Like Jimoin.

Had tickets to see him on his last tour before it was cancelled. Absolutely gutted when it was announced. Hope he is well and will be hosting another tour soon. It's definitely on my bucket list to see Peter Kay live!
