Perfect! It gets way easier with practice.
When I do a top string I have my knots reversed compared to yours. I find that it just helps seat the diamonds of mesh a little better and makes everything tighter.

I’ve strung a couple heads for me and a friend and I always somewhat forget how to do this for about 10 minutes and then it just clicks and I get it done in 2 minutes

Greg, can you do a tutorial or an update to this for a hidden nine diamond top string? Love that setup on an ECD complete stick I have and trying to replicate that exact pocket on a Tactik 2.0 head I just got.
We keep trying but it is really hard to show how to do that without getting our hands in the way
@@ECD , word. I can totally understand that. That’s where it gets tricky when doing it is going through the back of the scoop and coming back through the loop to set the knot up properly. Can totally see why that would be hard to film, especially if not filming from above. I’ll keep going with the trial and error.
@@ECD , there’s a video from a bit back on Powell Lacrosse’s channel that shows how to string the “Powell Pocket.” That setup uses a hidden nine diamond top and that video did decently showing how to do it without using sophisticated camera angles. It was the explanation on that video that got me over the hump. Take a look at the top string portion of that video and see if that shakes some ideas loose for you all.

I wanna know how to string the topstring where it's like a triangle topstring but only the triangle portion, idk what it's called or how to do it
Captain Splash not possible. The triangle top string has to wrap around the 9 diamond top string to work

Now is the perfect time to learn! Make sure you take your time and learn the basics to make sure everything is tight enough to hold up over time.

if u put it in .50 speed it’s really easy, and i’ve done a ceo but messed that up and a mk2a w hero 3 mesh and did it perfect
I had trouble attaching the top mesh
I have a nike ceo head with 4 holes on top and the middle diamond does not match up exactly to the middle of the head. Is there a video you could link me too or any advice is helpful?
The string might not be at the same tightness on all of the holes

i strung up a Tank, when ever the mesh needs a little touch i use pocket polish which i never really have to do because the mesh is so awesome @East Coast Dyes

I have one very long sidewall string, how long should i make it so i can do this top string?
Our strings come pre cut at 33 inches leaving a little extra to cut when it's all said and done

You don't need to break it in because east coast mesh doesn't need to be broken in
Actually you may need to regardless of mesh, in order to fully beak the pocket in, all you have to do is hit the wall for about 30 minutes.

I have never used hero mesh. I do not like soft mesh is there a hard or medium hard option
Of course! Our Hero2.0 comes in semi-hard as well. You can check it out on our website or at any other retailers.

My brothers old stick has a lot of whip do you have any tips
You can start by adjusting the bottom string, shooting strings and nylon. If you can get them loose that will help some but it might be time to restring it

You really have to work the tension once you wrap the string through the tie off hole.

Super tight! If your top string is loose the pocket can still work but won't hold up over time.

You can use all the holes it's just an easier way to do this than a 6 hitch

Practice, practice, practice. Stick with Noah it can be a frustrating task at first but once you understand the concept it does get easier with repetitions.
