    My son and I send many thanks for this, man. JUST so happened to have a Tacktik 2.0 and Mesh here and this is a great way to ease into a littttle more time at home than expected.

    This is the best sidewall tutorial I’ve ever seen. I learned how to string a stick just a couple weeks ago and now I’m stringing so many in one day.

    Would this work for the Adidas enrayge? if not, what style of pocket would work the best?

    Any difference in doing your ones from the top instead of coming up through the bottom? I wouldn’t think so but just curious...

    I’m am confused during quarantine stringing different heads have different number of holes so what do you do? Also how do you make different pockets

    • @Daveyidk
      @Daveyidk Před 3 lety

      I think the pocket depth depends on the bottom string and where the pocket sits depends on the sidewall

    I've strung this step by step configuration on an STX and a UA head and the channel just seems so freaking tight. What am I doing wrong?

    • @mainelymesh
      @mainelymesh  Před 2 lety +1

      Unfortunately, it could be a whole host of things. First is that different heads have different numbers of sidewall holes, so double check that first. When heads have fewer sidewall holes, following this pattern will lead to more channel. Second thing to make sure you're doing is breaking in the mesh both before and after you string it up, so pounding in the pocket, stretching out the mesh before you string it, etc. Third is to factor in what mesh you're using. Sometimes hero mesh can require a little more break in work, whereas StringKing can be a pit more pliable. The point of this video is more to offer a template for you to work within, not a truly universal pattern (alas, there is no such thing). Always feel free to DM me on instagram or email me with pictures so I can give more specific advice!

    Does this method work on all lacrosse heads?

    • @mainelymesh
      @mainelymesh  Před rokem

      It doesn't always apply to wider defensive heads or some more funky profiles but its a fairly good general rule!

      I will try to work on that! For what it's worth, if you click the settings button at the base of the video, you can adjust the playback speed all the way down to a quarter speed. Hope that helps!
