The point of collectibles used to be: sell guidebooks. Nowadays people do not understand its purpose because we have unlimited access to information. P.s this is why I never finished a load of games. I did not know of the existence of guide books during my childhood( or have the purchasing power).

Mannnnnn, I was trying to figure out which one I was missing. Eventually started redoing all of them that I wasn't 100% on... Watched and went through them all... Saw number 50 and was like, "no... I definitely got that one, right?... Is that the one I missed???" And sure enough... Out of all of them, I missed the one that wasn't hidden in a hole or under a rock, and even with the detector...🤦‍♂️. Thanks for the help! Having them numbered was a great help. Including numbered map locations.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the blooper gives a heavy lure, not a seashell when fishing. You have to catch a giant blue fish to get the shell (you also need a 60+ weight blue fish for a chamber stone). This fish doesn't appear until after you beat the game. Now maybe if you catch a second blooper before you beat the game it gives a seashell but on mine it just gave rupees.

On Seashell number 48, I can't remember how to get there. The closest warp points are Dampe's Shack and Western Tal Tal Mountains.
