Aizen and Urahara are like the 2 people that knows the truth about the world but have different ideologies. Aizen wants to change things, while Urahara is okay with the world as it is.
More like Urahara just prefer to not change things with the possibility that doing so will just make it worst
They represent Nietzsche's Ubermensh and Last man.
This is bullshit because the research division exists, and Urahara even said that he initially created the Hogyoku to free the SK, the man isn't against change, the existence of the Vizards and by extension Ichigo exist in Bleach; not to mention he helped progress Soul Society by helping them adapt new technology found in the Human world and adding his own flare, and his gigai invention would allow the Shinigami to mingle in the Human world, so he's already changing everything. This isn't Nietzsche's Ubermensh and Last man it's not even fucking close cause it's contradicting, this is Malcolm X vs Martin Luther King, Magneto vs Professor X. Two people seeking change in their own way who met at a crossroad; one wants to change it forcefully in his own image thinking that no amount of time will ever change the people's minds and the system, the other wanting to change things by slowly making their lives better, showing the faults of the system using these flaws to his advantage and changing it from the inside out and hopefully these different walks of life would come to see that they're not so different and could benefit each other going forward. Two of them finding their own answer, one found the Hogyoku to be his absolute solution and basing everything around this one answer, while the other founded a division that would pursue the knowledge of truth and is open to those seeking to change things through knowledge and research
Two of them were then gifted the opportunity to witness a woman who sacrificed her life to save a Soul who then gave birth to someone who embodies both of their ambissions and vision. Once again the two have different methods in mind to utilize this person for their ambissions, the tyrant used him to make himself better, while the sage chose to make this person and those around him change for the better, althroughout the story you see these two playing their game, Aizen using ichigo to disrupt the Gotei, while Urahara used Ichigo to unite them. Aizen using ichigo to make himself stronger by fighting him at his best, while Urahara sending Ichigo to make Ichigo stronger and give enough time to ensnare this would be tyrant. Urahara accomplished two things here capturing the tyrant and preparing the group to face a bigger foe as all of these events leading up to the first invasion prompted them to train more, hell if they hadn't the Quincy would've wiped them all out, and alternatively there is no assurance Aizen would win a fight against Yhwach since Yhwach managed to break even Kyoukasuigetsu in mere seconds. I doubt his Bankai would do anything since Yhwach could steal Aizen's Bankai if he wanted to now that Kyoukasuigetsu can't affect him.

Aizen talking about "that thing" and his last words before getting sealed has some of the best voice acting and animation.
The way he starts gurgling towards the end before being fully sealed always gives me chills

Yeah it’s such a damn good scene. Him just loosing it is so jarring yet the VA for in both dub and sub killed it. Especially since you likely miss what he’s talking about before getting a huge reminder in TYBW. Really goes to show how far Kisuke and Aizen are compared to everyone else when it comes to knowing things

Aizen dominated every scene he was in. Not just fights, but conversations as well. We have never seen him out of his depth. That's why seeing a character like him getting absolutely destroyed for the first time hits so god damn hard. This is truly one of the most cathartic moments in all of anime/manga.
In the manga, when Ichigo activated Final Getsuga Tensho, there's a sketch at the end of the chapter depicting the butterfly (Aizen) and a black ray (Ichigo) standing before him. Then in the next chapter, there is a sketch depicting the butterfly getting split in half and a black crescent moon in the background. in the next chapter, there is a sketch depicting the black crescent moon slowly crumbling away.
Hogyouku be like:"Aizen, bro, this kid pulled out some dope shit with fusing with his sword. Wanna try it with yours?"

For those who's asking "Ichigo was already stronger than Aizen, why would he use Mugetsu?", Aizen can adapt and getting stronger. Even with Mugetsu, Aizen is still getting stronger as evident that his Zanpakuto starts disappearing, meaning that just like Ichigo, he's going to fuse with his Zanpakuto.
If ichigo didn't use mugetsu then aizen would have evolved to a level beyond ichigo so he had to use it still did nothing
Aizen said that he can't feel Ichigo reiatsu so it's clear who is on higher level. He also admit that Yammamoto is way stronger then him with his Rujin Jakka so he needed to create Wonderwise to seal Yammamotos power and let me remind you that also Yammamoto only used his Shikai and even with his Shikai he is stronger then anybody.
I know Aizen have so many fanboys but we need to appriciate creator and to read dialog properly to understand who is stronger then who.
Using brains to beat enemies is not legal now i guess. Urahara literally used kido to defeat aizen...

During the whole fight Aizen tries to rationalise how the hell does Ichigo manage to outclass him every time. My man was starting to go crazy near the end. It seems that the experiment "Ichigo" was a little too successful.
Ichigo wasn't a experiment ichigowas a complete coincidence that nobody expected and bcz of how great his potential were aizen never killed him even when aizen defeated everyone but he left ichigo alive just like that knowing ichigo is a combination of every single species and the growth rate of his development i mean take his place knowing that he's someone growing at unbelievable speed in power who's a human,soul reaper, hollow, Quincy could be wayy above anybody league
I love that you are probably the only reactor ive seen that noticed Aizens face was split apart in the last transformation. If the TYBW anime adaptation doesnt censor anything, we are gonna get some wicked body horror in the new season.

The dude that plays Aizen, after years of calm speaking, his screams of pure rage at Urahara is terrifying. Imagine what is basically the strongest character at this point being mad at you on a level like that lmao. Would never sleep again.
Yeah Aizen is a character that’s always so damn calm and controlled. Even with gag moments he’s played straight aside from his dry/dark humor. So seeing him not only get demolished but loose his shit and just start yelling was startling. It’s interesting to me too how Kisuke isn’t gloating or reveling in the downfall of someone who ruined his and so many others lives but genuinely looks a bit sad/pitying. Considering what we find out in TYBW and possibly the Hell Chapter they’re both not wrong

A design detail i really like here is that aizens final form literally splits his face in half
Yeah the more I go back and watch these sections the more I love how fucked up it is. Really shows how the transformations took a left turn. Meanwhile in Bleach Brave Souls’ 6th Anniversery trailer you can see Aizen’s final ascension that follows his progression if he hadn’t mentally flipped out.

Aizen is the best shonen villain for me rn even tho I’ve only watched 3 anime still never seen anything like him. Ichigo might also be one of my fav mc he gets so many new powers and every arc he gets the powers based on the theme of the arc.

About the powers Neel,don't worry. Before TYBW there is still an arc to watch,the Lost Agent arc,known as Fullbring arc. It's just 22 episodes long. It is good tbh with you so you should watch it to understand better the story

Also Yammamoto is the strongest with his Rujin Jakka let's not forget that. If he was evil he could easily destroy every dimension with his Shikai and not gonig to mention how powerfull is his Bankai.

Its understandable why they lost...lets not forget that oetsu was able to one shot/kill all of them before Yhwach revised them by taking power from the other quincy... They were fighting the entire Elite guard(Gerald, Lille Barro, Askin and Pernida at the same time) crazy... Ultimately Squad Zero's credibility was damaged because of their fight being completely offscreen... If their full fight actually was shown Just like Ichibei when he Faced Yhwach.. I bet 100% that you wouldn't take them so lightly.. Which might happen in the anime

I love this episode because it really solidifies that Aizen is meant to represent Nietzsche's Ubermensh while Urahara is meant to represent The Last Man. Aizen learned the truth about the soul king and wanted to become soul king himself to better the world. While Urahara learned the truth about the Soul King and accepted it as something they all have to live with. And just like Nietzsche said, the Last Man survives the longest.

If I had to guess, Aizen's form here is probably the equivalent to Ichigo in hollowfied Vasto Lorde form - or Ulquiorra's Resurrecion Segunda Etapa. Guess you can call it Aizen in Vasto Lorde mode .. albeit a bit more powerful than Ichigo's in terms of spiritual capacity if we take into account that "a part of Ichigo's power was sealed" then (which I shan't spoil too much).
You are fucking out of your mind if you think that White or Ulquiorra is anywhere near the strength of Aizen. That is probably the most non-sense wank I've seen for those two characters despite no feats backing it up.

Wanna know an interesting fact about Urahara? Kisuke was suppose to be the main villain instead of Aizen. It was he was gonna make Hogyoku to Rule them All kinda. But Kubo didn't put that in the story coz he thought it wouldnt work well for the story but it was actually intended that Kisuke was gonna be the one that betrays Soul Society and Rukia and Ichigo and everyone and have the Hogyoku himself. That why he made it. But then Aizen came because he choose him to be the villain instead.
for the record mugetsu is the strongest attack ever fired in the bleach universe.

Bleach is the king of anime
It's theorized that the reason Aizen actually lost his transcendent form is actually due to him loosing faith in his own abilities and not cus the Hogyoku rejected him. Ichigo pushed him so far that Aizen began to question himself and the Hogyoku's powers. So in his heart he felt that he was somehow unworthy, that's what turned him back and undid his transformations.
If that is the case though that would mean that the Hogyoku is still loyal to him and as such can still keep making him more powerful in time.
Means exactly what they talked in the anime ichigo push aizen to limit allowing urahara kido to work , it's not theory u just suck at comprehension and readinh

Hey Neel, your thoughts on "a final arc is coming, Ichigo can't lose his powers" etc., there's a whole Arc 2 that people say are "fillers", but those aren't actually fillers, they explain how Ichigo gets powers back and more about Soul Society in general that comes in play in the final arc ;) so make sure you watch all those episodes as well!

Aizen had millions of chances to kill Ichigo from his infancy. But Aizen wanted someone to rival him, hence Ichigo. Even Ichigos hollow power is thanks to Aizen. Even tho it wasnt intentional. Aizen destroyed the cleaner, and then soon after said Ichigo will arrive with new powers. Yes he was surprised at the level but he did expect it.
Aizen wanted someone to defeat him because he was always hax. Thats why the hogyoku suddenly stopped evolving Aizen, because he felt Ichigo was finally someone at a respectable level who could rival or defeat him. Which activated Uraharas seal. Soon after the fight ended the hogyoku again started making him stronger while he was sealed. Because Aizen wasn't fighting ichigo anymore and his wish of getting stronger surpassed his wish to lose find a rival.
Ya Ichigo won with a cool fight but because Aizen spared him a million times.
Without Ichigo existing, Aizen is Still one of the strongest in show. But without Aizen existing, Ichigo is a high school kid or a decent captain lv soul reaper at best.
The fact that Aizen survived the battle after giving Ichigo so many chances to improve make better imo. A man with the brain to make a nuke is cooler than the nuke even with its destructive power. But if he survives his own nuke... and keeps getting stronger while sealed.... I wouldn't be sitting praising the nuke like a fool lol.

Filler arc which comes just after this arc is really worth watching. Very interesting it is. You will have literally very much fun and wish why such arc was not in manga itself. You may wish it should not be called filler. Why not rreat it as main part of story.

Still, feel like the final getsugatenshou was an egoistic power move on Ichigo's side. Given how effortless they made the fight look for him, he should have been able to finish him even without it.
Aizen still survived it though.
As cool as the fight was, this is one of the things that makes Ichigo not a good main character to me or straight up unlikeable, he seems to get very cocky only when he is powerful, he was almost on the verge of tears against Grimmjow until he was able to fight him on even terms, against Aizen just a few hours prior to this fight he lost all hope just by a few words Aizen told him in FKT and then when Aizen fused himself with the Hogyoku as well, his dad had to snap him out of it and then later on (manga spoilers) in the Fullbring and TYBW arcs as well when he was either powerless or got screwed by Yhwach twice, then later on is all cocky and shit when he either does some damage or wins, I wish he had been less cocky during these fights, and knowing Kubo he will still be the same way in the upcoming Hell arc as well lol, so straight up unlikeable.
