- I have previously mowed this persons front yard, now it was time to finish off the backyard and give the dog back his space.
The clients mower was broken beyond repair so I gifted them a mower to give them a fresh start to keep on top of their lawn.

I guessed the trampoline as a possible fire pit pile.... Thanks for helping the people, and dog, out of the overwhelm symptoms in their yard. The gift of a workable mower was very kind. Just about every overgrown Australian yard I've seen has several elements in common: a trampoline, a pile of scrap metal, a pile of scrap lumber, a pile of bricks, outgrown children's play equipment, discarded furniture, disused clothes drying rack, and old tires. I think this yard scored 6 out of 8 (everything but old tires and bricks)!

Glad you re helping out on jobs like this, just be careful you re not being taken advantage of. If a homeowner does take advantage of you, you still were a blessing to them no matter what. ✝️ If this n others are paid clean up jobs, I m proud of homeowner for stepping up to get help. 👍
I sure hope your gifting of that nice mower isn't in vain. You did a great kindness in cleaning up that horrendous trashed up yard. Sorry, I can see the grass and weeds getting away from you because of a busted mower, BUT..... what's with all the trash,( especially the big stuff),???? That could mean hard times and depression, or a bad habit of throwing stuff out of the house rather than taking care of disposing of it properly. Great job.

What you did for this family was wonderful and the gift was above and beyond. To say their yard looked like that because their mower broke is tripe. A broken mower does not excuse all the garbage in the lawn. That is silly.

Tackling a job like that must cause a fair amount of trepidation; I appreciate you explaining the need to proceed slowly and with caution. There's no reason to risk unnecessarily damaging equipment or injuring oneself. Keep at it, you're doing wonders with Hunter Valley Grass!

Holy crap the back yard! 😮 I understand overgrown grass, but not trash n junk just thrown n left in the yard. If can get trash n junk into the yard, can get it into a trashcan or to the roadside. About the same distance. A few old things stored in backyard is understandable, but a lot strewn about is laziness. A house n yard are blessings. Take care of them.

I actually think that the slow but sure method of the weed-wacker reminds me that with my mental health difficulties, the journey doesn't have to be the fastest route. Just make it through the day, hour, or minute the best and safest way you know how.
