The gloomy weather gets lots of people. My friend in Canada has a sunlight lamp she sits by, have you heard of/tried one of those? What gets me is coming home from work in the dark. This too shall pass.

Such an incredible job you did here, with so many challenges. Gosh the buffalo was so thick, the runners so strong, the kakyuyu and couch, the rain, those massive plant/weed things along the fence, hidden surprises, angry ants, and dreadful polystyrene. I was really moved when you put the straw in the raised beds, and they looked so lovely,, but then the notes with seeds and stakes had me teared up. A really good thing I got from your video is, with my depression, I look at something that needs doing and feel overwhelmed like it's all too big. At one point you sort of mowed a whole square near the back door, and I could see maybe what I could do, just start on a smaller part and finish that. These things must seem obvious to most people but not to me. Thanks for showing me some green too, it's been a colour missing from Perth over the last eight months of drought, and the dead shade of brown is pretty crap, especially when they're trees in parks and on streets. I can’t understand why your channel isn’t bigger, you do exceptional work for the home owners. You go above and beyond by setting up their gardens ready for next growing season. Those weeds you were pulling out of the first garden I have always known as twitch. Nast stuff that has so many roots and even if you leave one runner behind it grows again. Almost as bad as onion weed (I think the technical name is oxalis but I might be wrong. We had it in an area of our yard years ago and took so long to get rid of.
