Never really looked at nutritional value of rubs much. Just looked now at my favourite big phat Greek by a&o…45g of Salt per 100g😂 think I might cut back usage on that one! Will give yours a go on my next rubs and marinade stock up

Interested in how it tastes so I have purchased a bottle. Fingers cross it all works out for you and yes I have had members on my bbq page ask about rubs without rubs.... This may be a go to rub for them and me. Good luck and thank you for sharing.

thanks for the heads-up on salt think you might be on a winner here, personally I try to make my own rubs but 'convenience is king' in this day and age and 1\5th salt in a brought rub is 🤯🤯🤯'ing.....

If you think that 20% Salt is high then 38% Carbohyrdates is equally bad as they turn to sugars when digested. As you say, you are not eating 100g at once but every little reduction helps without having to forego eating it.
