- M83 played at several festivals in Europe and some in the US, they had just released their last album (Junk 2016) preceded by the media success of the album (Hurry Up We Are Dreaming 2011) with its very iconic and very famous song Midnight City led the band to a success that they not had before and opened them to a new audience.

I’m 54, musician as long as I can remember. M83’s music is like what I hear in my head haven’t totally been able to express it. Anthony is a brilliant storyteller/musician as he takes you on a journey with every track. 🫶🏼I can’t wait to see this live on 4/19.

I remember watching them live back in 2012 in a festival in Mexico city. It was a surreal experience watching a wolf lady shooting lasers out of her fungers coming on stage and starting the amazing show, and when they played colours , my mind exploded. It really marked me . I already loved music , but such experience really got it deep in my soul

God! I love the drummer's energy!
I play drums and am amazed by this guy. He hits hard like Dave Grohl in the 90's, but he also utilizes a very unique, modern approach. His timing is always perfect, never misses a beat and he just truly has some serious passion. The whole band feeds off that.. It can't be easy with all the loops and samples they have going on as well to always be perfect.
@@robertmarino333 Larry Mullen, the drummer for U2, talked about how difficult it was when they switched from being a simple 4 piece band live after Joshua Tree and started performing with tracks and samples
it’s an entirely different skill set for the rhythm section

Saw them live when I was 19 in Oakland CA… it was tremendous and probably my favorite concert I’ve ever been to. OK Pal from their album hurry up, we’re dreaming was my favorite song from them at the time, and they had the heart to play it live, I cried. It was the best! I miss them, I crave for a new album and I hope to see them live again but this time I’ll be even more hyped up than the last.
Can confirm Oblivion live was unreal!! The Gorge alone will blow your mind

I am 47 and have seen a lot of shows. M*3's energy is incredible and spiritual, and most of their music is fairly mellow.. These guys take it to another level. And kuddos to the sound engineers. I kind of think it's the best band I have ever heard, especially live.
