Actually ballads tend to be slower, and not loud, so Noel’s lament is not a ballad

@@adz6043 Yeah but I think the whole point is the title was what they wanted, not what it was. Janes was a lament cuz she was expressing the pain that came with not knowing who she was. Noel's was a ballad cuz he was telling the story of what he'd have done as Monique. But all Noel wanted was a life of pain and tragedy. All Jane wanted was a story to tell.

This was excellent. A song that really screams your personality as well as showing the spirit of your love for singing. The beat was amazing, the vocals were on point, and the atmosphere was just gorgeous. I love the piano tune in the background with the accordion and it really makes me feel like I’m dancing a very somber yet elegant dance. Plus I just generally love these kinds of songs since they always have this mysterious allure to them, so its nice that your showing it some love. This was beautiful as always Anna. Great job to you and I can’t wait to see what you cover next.💙
