Iâve been a big fan of Evan since you first had him on Talking Strongman two years ago. Great to see him looking so strong, and thanks Liz for another quality upload.
Id be surprised if he doesnât hurt himself in training but hey he is a freak so who knows. Just think his training is for lack of better words stupid. Lol. Like why is he deadlifting like that for wsm in a few weeks. The competition is a deadlift ladder where you have to transfer to each new bar. Heâs just doing bounce reps. Top guys are not training it like that. Either way. Guy is obviously gonna be good but could probably be better if his training was a bit smarter. Playing the aggressive way is so risky and not needed. Donât see martins tom or Novikov going that crazy in training

@Ugly giant bag of mostly water To me he seems like a genuinely nice guy with a lot of passion to be the best. In my eyes the way he act during comps is mostly an act/ a way to hype himself up.
Yeah I think if he avoids anything like that I definitely think he's in contention. I would predict podium for sure in that case. Plus he seems like a really nice guy, the hype is just for comps.

Singleton is my dark horse to possibly win WSM 2022. If he is on fire, he could be unstoppable.
I've got him top 5 this year and next year winning personally his over head needs a bit of work to win at least in the last few shows I saw

@@petershortland478 I honestly predict him to be back for the rogue invitational in October or possibly the Arnold. Heâs finally realized to take his training more serious in terms of training smarter. Evan doesnât seem like heâll last a long time because of how he trains. I canât see Evan even beating Novikov or Martins. Evan if for sure on the rise but I donât think heâs at that level yet
There is no chance that anyone but Martins wins worldâs strongest man. Evan doesnât have a chance this year but he is getting better. I also predict that Even will also receive an injury soon. Heâs kinda asking for one.
Heâs gotta make the final this year surely, had rotten luck but bounced back like a fierce competitor with the giants live wins and podiums last year. Dark horse for a podium

I remember watching Derek poundstone do 800 for 10 reps like 10 years ago.
Evan has been one of my favorite strongman for awhile. Just a really funny, interesting, and intense guy. But you can tell he's really nice. At the Shaw classic when he stood around to see every fan I had an awesome brief interaction and really enjoyed seeing him and I hope to see him again this year. At worlds he definitely has a chance to podium or even win. He's gonna surprise a lot of people I feel like. Also I love the sportsmanship and friendship you guys have helping ecahother out when needed. It's what strongman is all about

Well Evan won few international shows in 2021 and from then he is commiting 100% for WSM 2022. Because he is not competing for almost half year everbody little forgot about him. But he is a serious contender to win WSM this year.

This guy just gets stronger every comp and to be honest I can see him winning wsm in the next 3 to 4 years and youâve got to love his energy and personality Iâm British so I always want a Brit to win it and we have had two brits win it in the last 6 years but if Iâm being honest I would like to see Evan win it.

I never thought of it before but based off of how explosive Evan is on his deadlifts i would be curious to see him try olympic style weightlifting. I feel like he would be very good at it.
