VeraCrypt - What it is and how it works (basic level) (Windows 10)
VeraCrypt is free software that is used to encrypt files, folders, removable drives, hard drives, among other storage units. To do this, it uses different types of algorithms such as AES, Serpent and Twofish, or a combination of them. Allows you to create an encrypted virtual volume on a file or partition, or (on Windows) encrypt an entire storage device with pre-boot authentication. VeraCrypt is cross-platform, it is currently compatible with Windows operating systems, any Linux-based system, and it is also compatible with macOS. VeraCrypt is a fork based on the source code of the discontinued TrueCrypt software. We must remember that the TrueCrypt project has closed, and we will no longer have new updates of said software. However, VeraCrypt has picked up the baton and incorporates all the features of TrueCrypt plus many security and performance improvements.

Una pregunta: estaba encriptando un disco duro externo pero tenía mucho contenido tardaba mucho aparecía una opción de aplazarlo, le he dado a clic. Después no me deja montarlo porque me pone que la encriptacion no se ha terminado y no veo en ninguna parte de veracrypt para continuar con una encriptacion aplazada
