I've never owned or painted a 40k model ever . I just watch these because I love seeing how awesome they look finished as this one did . I'll bite the bullet one day a starter kit maybe and see how that goes
Hey Jeff, thanks for letting me know that you liked it. A starter kit is a great way to dip your toes in. I find painting to be a great way to unwind and relax so it might have similar benefits for you. I’ll aim to keep you entertained with more videos 😀

haha yep I figured my time was running out! Yeah I like it. You don't have much control on how it will look BUT it is a cool looking rust. So on something like this I'm happy to combine it with the other techniques. It's not a popular video of mine (but what is? 🤣) but I have a video where I compare Dirty Down Rust to weathering powders on pieces of terrain. If you want to see more up close detail on the comparison.
Yep normally I recommend magnets however this model was a gift and it saves him trying to colour match new parts. Plus I’m reliably informed that he has an abundance of Knights so he won’t be short of options 😅
