Score was A+ but sadly I cut the recording before that appeared. Took a photo though.

As someone who got the A+ thanks to this video and practice, my tips are this.
First, this battle is about what strategy you use for any situation. When he attacks, you attack and counter, especially when Noctis has a heavy weapon, because Ignis can recover like 80% of health with the square, if Noctis has a light weapon, try to dodge it, because it takes two hits to take you back and you can only recover from the last hit. If Noctis tries to dodge, DO NOT STOP the attack and keep until he is drained. You have to keep the High jump for the Arminger since it gives you invulnerability, but if you have only two you can use the clarity fire attack to avoid damage. If Noctis goes up, maintain yourself away but seeing him, so you can rest a bit and reover some hp. Fighting upthere is difficult and you can take damage from fall. And moreover, be mindful to see if Noctis clings on the announce, since you can make it fall with L2 and he takes damage from it. Noctis can use magic too, so you want to get away from where it starts, but try to do it while getting away from Noctis, because he CAN dake damage fro his own magic and get some debuff. But be even more careful if he is surrounded by lines, letters and signs, because he is going to use the VS on you and that erases you instantly with no phoenix feather involved, so you have to interrupt him by making enought damage. Also, take notes about this, since you need to change strategies and see what's doing Noctis, you need space, so go somewhere open without obstacles.
Second, the healing items are the real limitation when trying to survive and you are not perfectly taking the previous advices(or even if you do, is impossible to finish no-hit to this). Besides the VS, taking damage and not healing it until you are in agony will reduce you hp bar until there is no difference between using a potion or a ultrapotion, so use potions before getting in agony and use ultrapotions when you are down. If your hp limit is less than 2000, then use an elixir or Noctis will one hit you with the shield. Ignis can recover from agony without healing items, but that needs to press square for two seconds straight and Noctis can interrupt it by attacking, so think about if you can affor the time or afford the item.
Third, for the A+ rank you have to finish fast, finish with a good combo, and finish without taking too much damage. Since Noctis won't stop attaking at full force, doing the first will lead to the third, but the good combo has to be done in the first two minutes before the first Arminger. Just attack until he is exhausted and keep attacking until you reach the 25 hit combo, then, if you managed to charge the clarity, ue it with fire to get another 10 hits and try to keep attacking, because you need more than 35 hits. If you take too much, Ravus will help you out, and is a decent chance to get the combo thing since two hits more than one, but the time can be a problem.
And I guess that's it. I could also say that the fourth Arminger comes with Gladiolus and Prompto helping Noctis, but High jump makes it irrelevant. Ultraessence also gives you invulnerability, but it costs 2 dextery bars so it gives you less invulnerability to the spectral chorus, so you can think of what do you want with practice. Arminger charged almost the same pace than your dextery, so if he used it and you used your three bars, Noctis won't use it again until you Dextery is full charged, so you can predict when he uses it.

If Noctis clings to one of the large signs, you can hold L2 to grapple the sign, then rapidly tap O and you can pull the sign down on top of Notics head dealing around 3000 damage to him and preventing him from using that sign again for the rest of the fight

This bloody fight has taken me so long an entire day but finally, finally I have beaten Noctis and gotten the achievement I had beaten him 4 times but couldn't get it until now with a score of 1064466 I want to thank you so much for the video (also if anyone is wondering it doesn't really matter how many items you use I had one hi-potion I think left so use away)

Also if your in danger mode you can hold the triangle button down for a few secounds, if Noctis doesn't hit you say because he's changing his weapon, it will take you out of danger mode and restore 800 or so hps, Ive been doing this if I ran out of Phoenix downs and healing potions, Just another thing that can help you survive longer,
If you let Noctis run from you after he’s low on health he starts to spam the ring to drain your hp

This fight is kicking my ass. It looks like you don't bother dodge rolling at all and just hold the attack button the entire time while making sure to hit almost every counter, is that right?
Jay Smooth correct! Counters are extremely important. Also, use your Dragoon Special attack whenever he uses Armiger, all the way up until he finishes it and then continue the attack/counter strategy.

I need some help. I just found your guide, and I've fought Noctis twice, boh times I beat him, but I only got a B. I did use up all my items, and I only did parries and hit him when I could. Do I need to use less items, or what?

Thanks so much man i was having such a hard time but first time i killed him it was A+ 115k score. I think the big reason i struggled so much is this is not at all how i fight, holding the attack button just letting him hit you then countering and that's it. and the High jump during his Armiger is fucking key. Also keeping your hp high enough to survive the counter is a good idea too.

Also, if Noctis goes upon the gas station roof, you will have enough time to get underneath where he is and restore your clarity to 3 bars before he teleports back down, You also regain some health back like you would if you where out of battle, Just be ready to dodge Noctis's teleport attack when he comes back down

He’d also throw Ninja Stars and all that at you, so be prepared for that as well! I used a mixture of many things during when he was on top of the Gas Station!

I beat Noct but unfortunately wasn't able to get an A+ ranking. Just an A. My Noctis AI kept warping to the rooftop of the mini Mart making things a nightmare for me. No way I'm attempting this fight again.

Ewan Wright you have to be hit first and press the button exactly when it show on the screen. High Jump is the best way yeah.

I am having some problems on beating Noct because I really want to use all the potential that Ignis have. I mean his ice and electric daggers and their total clarity specials, not only the fire one (I know It's the better one). And also use his Overclock ability. I can win like this, I've had a victory before it's just too hard and I am trying to find an easy way...

At 0:02 theres a restauraunt, they were eating burgers and Noctis took the salad & tomatoes out, so naturally Ignis challenges him to a duel to prove that he needs to eat his "greens"

You build your rage bar by hitting him and countering. (The one where it says damage xnumber)

You can't miss a single counter. I missed only 3-4 during this whole fight and when that happened I healed with a potion or something.

When you hit a counter, it restores your health.
you can get your health restored only by recovering from an attack (when you get button prompt)
