Sodor Through The Ages | Episode 15 | Trevor and the Torch

Dear Friends
Not many stories are told about Trevor the Traction Engine. He lives a rather quiet life, so there aren't that many tell! Trevor doesn't mind this however, he's rather happy with his life. However, there was a time where Trevor received a brief bit of fame, and he wasn't even looking for it! He remembers this day fondly, when I first met him, he couldn't talk of anything else. I think it's only fair that his story gets shared to the world.

When you told me the plans for this arc, even I didn't expect to truly see a grey area for a Topham Hatt. Something like this is something I haven't seen since 'Sudrian Conflict' was still relevant. Topham just wanted people to take his railway seriously, and he's going through it for some wrong means.
On to the main story, this was carried by the comedic timing, which in itself was carried by your simple yet dynamic art style, from Josie, the typical wide jawed news reporter and the athlete that gained a few pounds since his glory days to the little goth on the side of the road, your range of character designs for the people is such a rarity in fan videos, not everyone can be an artist I guess.
Sorry, a tangent there, it's so welcome to see Trevor get the focus which I don't think was a thing in most 2012 Olympics stories back when it was topical. Quite funny seeing how part of Trevor's problems that day was a bit of Bailey's down the hatch.

Thanks :))) Designing the humans was definitely my favourite part, definitely. I actually plan to reuse alot of the designs in the next episode (which I lowkey might split into parts).
Richard is a fun character to write for, definitely. I love seeing people analyse him lol
As for the whole setting it during the 2012 oplymic games, pretty much all the Richard Hatt stories date back to 2016ish, where the event wasn’t so long ago. Crazy how time flies
