Tanya, I came across your easy green tomato chutney recipe in 2020. I have been making it ever since its that good! I got a harvest of 3kg of green tomatoes this year and it made about 12 jars.

I had to do the same, as it Autumn/Fall here in Australia, and this the first time my tomatoes plants have gone this far (by still having blossoms and green tomatoes on them)
It breaks my heart to have to pull them out.😢

I hope it does help. Green tomatoes have so many tasty uses, but they can of course be ripened indoors. Get yours in before there's any chance of frost :)

What do you think about subbing dates instead of the raisins?
It may be sweeter, but it would be fine. Be aware that you can't taste the raisins in this as raisins. They just add a touch of sweetness.
