Comedy actor Ade Edmondson travels with a caravan all over Britain, where each episode he stops in a different county to find out about its unique foods and traditions.
On this episode he visited the Lake District and made an appearance at the Grasmere Gingerbread Shop.

Went to grasmere often in my younger days, the gingerbread was lovely, the village too was beautiful, used to go on many fell walks using Grasmere as a starting point, plenty of interesting things to see and do. Excellent presentation, thanks

I was just brought some of this gingerbread as a thankyou form my sister :) I absolutely love ginger! However the biscuits are rather hard to be into! I would love to try make my ow a litter softer :)
Also gingerbread/cake was supposedly brought over from Armenia by a Monk! How cool!
