Finland Hydropower plant [ UHD 60fps ]

#summer #drone view of Harjavalta #hydropowerplant , it was completed in 1939. The power of the plant is 105 megawatts, which makes it one of the most efficient hydropower plants in Southern Finland. The drop height of the power plant is 26.4 meters.
The power plant's power generation uses three water turbines with capacities of 40 megawatts (MW), 40 MW and 22 MW. The turbines are Kaplan turbines , two of which were started in 1939 and a third smaller one in 2016. They drive vertically two 42 MVA three-phase generators supplied by Siemens-Schuckert , with a continuous output of 26 MVA. They produce electrical energy at a voltage of 11,000 volts . The diameter of the rotors is 6.4 meters and they are water cooled.
