  • I’m starting to see more and more of these types of e-bikes around. This is good news for both noise and air pollution, but it worries me that many don’t seem to know the rules and regulations around them. Because when used correctly, these can be very handy to have around for going to the market or nearby places (like in bigger subdivisions or barangay roads)
    So I borrowed a #HATASU Hero for a few days to see just how useful it could be and to also help shed some light on the proper way to use these types of e-bikes.
    This unit is a three seater, with a 650w motor that’s good for up to 70kms according to the manufacturer. I didn’t quite get that far, so I can’t tell you how real-world that figure is. But the fact that you can charge it out of a regular 220v socket and leave it overnight like a phone, you shouldn’t really have to worry about range too much.
