SMB / Metro Pacific (RSA/MVP) wants Filipinos to pay the toll gate. 2. Partas (Singson), Farinas Bus company wants Filipinos to pay bus fare 3. Petroleum companies want Filipinos to consume more Fuel (Gas/Diesel) 4. Motor Vehicle manufacturers (including spare parts) want Filipinos to buy more motor bikes, cars, buses, trucks, etc. 5. Civil Engineers & contractors @DPWH or local government wants to build more roads & bridges (incld. skyway/flyover) 6. LTO, Traffic Police, MMDA and TMO want to issue more vehicle registration/licenses and traffic violation tickets (Hulidap) 7. DENR wants more AIR POLLUTION and DAMAGE to the environment. 8. DOH wants more Filipinos to get LUNG CANCER or other RESPIRATORY DECEASE

LOBBYING AGAINST RAIL BASED MASS TRANSPORT SYSTEM The Philippines is no.1 worst in traffic and we are so far behind our neighbors in Rail-based mass transportation. There's a few reasons why, all are interrelated. I'll focus on our CAR CENTRIC culture and why our leaders are not interested in regulating no. of vehicles until it's now TOO LATE - heavy traffic everywhere, pollution problems and high cost of fuel. Our leaders (local/national government, Congress, NEDA and media) instead push for more roads/bridges projects - expressways, skyways to accommodate growing population demand for public transportation infrastructure. Why? Mainly because of the following group lobbying strongly against RAIL BASED MASS TRANSPORT SYSTEMS. 1. The Japanese government (JICA or ODA) & other banks provide loans to the Philippines. Note: Car manufacturers & spare parts suppliers led by Japanese (Toyota, Nissan Mitsubishi, Isuzu), American (Ford, GM, Chrysler, Chevrolet), European, Korean and recent influx of Chinese brands. 2. Petrochemical companies (Petron, Shell, Caltex) 3. Expressway / Skyway Roads Toll Gate Operations & Management (O&M) - SMC, Metro Pacifics. 4. Buses are owned by cronies of politicians 5. Civil engineers at DPWH will build more roads/bridges and more drainage to maintain. Our politicians & paid media always use poor people (drivers of PUJ, bus, FX, taxis, tricyles ) to hide the business interest of Oligarch. It should not be a source of employment or profit for banks because Transportation is Public Service Obligation (PSO) - an obligation imposed on our government (local/national) or private organisation by legislation or contract to provide safe, efficient, free or affordable transportation of people & goods. e.g. Just imagine SLEX/NLEX was built since FMarcos Sr. and return of investment (ROI) including profits is already paid full. But until now SMC & MVP are still charging and increasing toll fees.

Great video. A Lot of people put the car down and do much negative comments. I have the car on order and will be leasing for 2 years. It’s just the range that is the only negative thing playing in my head. But as you say Lexus do things for a reason. I really hope I have not made the wrong choice.

It’s a terrible car, all current Mg non ev’s are bloody awful. The perceived quality soon shows itself to being just skin deep. Engines is awful, gearbox even worse, you mention economy …it’s really poor, warranty and after sales service from mg is the worst I’ve experienced. Oh and it’s not part English and also there no leather in the car is plastic.

I know your video is 4 years ago but for the sake of others who will be watching this video and maybe reading your comment, NO. even the LTO, SLEX, NLEX and any other highways already addressed this and you CAN'T go above the speed limit. there is NO LAW regarding hogging the fast lane but THERE IS a law for overspeeding. yes you SHOULDN'T hog the fast lane but cruising at maximum speed and hogging it at a maximum speed by LAW is permitted. the only thing you SHOULDN'T do is to hogging the fast lane at slower speeds. Yes it is the job of the authority but it is also your responsibility to EDUCATE BETTER. what if 3 three lanes are occupied and cruising at the same speeds? (speed limit) will you slow down from the left lane and change lane from left to middle then let them pass? NO. that introduces more point of error than just staying there cruising at maximum speed limit. I think most of you are confused with the speed limit since what MOST and especially the one you are referring to the video cearly states the MAXIMUM speed limit and not the speed limit between 60-100 especially in SLEX. this is what's saddening about our country most of these especially YOU enables this kind of act. NO ONE should ever be allowed to over speed. doing a maneuver to slow down a bit and change from left to mid lane then letting someone pass doing MORE than the speed limit has more point of error and cause lives. don't get me wrong what I am referring to is IF the driver is already at a MAXIMUM speed limit but if they are driving slower than that then that's the time I'll agree with you. with regards to letting authorities handle it, nope that's not how it should be always. what's 911 for and emergencies if you'll just ommit something that's possibly about to happen? it's like saying let the man kill the other guy and don't call the police because that's their job and not ours. SOOOOOO STUPUD.... please EDUCATE BETTER NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW

I have an MG HS Exclusive purchased new have covered 10000 miles not one single problem cost me 26K British pounds the equivalent Ford Kuga was £37k (which the MG replaced) a no brainer with 7 years warranty.

Well …we got one and it has a huge problem with transmission just after 7 months . Before purchasing please ask Saler those questions. How long does it takes to repair let’s say Transmission or rooftop? Do they provide Temporary Car replacement ? Do they provide allowance/compensation while on repair ? Guess what … they don’t . Don’t do our mistakes . Don’t get me wrong … MG is a great car BUT AfterSale/customer service is a Nightmare. We are very disappointed . Guess what …? We are back to renting a car .
