I just rewatched the Knebworth performance, and it seems crazy that this performance truly stands up right alongside it, maybe even better in some ways, it's a different kind of heartbeat behind his vocals these days, grabs you in a way that I think even young Liam couldn't do. He's been through the wringer now, and come out defiant and a fucking king. Love you Liam! Rock n roll.
Very very impressive. He's recovered some power and a lot of lung capacity. But to say it's as good as young Liam? Calm down. He's still very nasal and can't hit all the high notes like he used to. As good as Knebworth? Arguably the best ever live Slide Away? Behave.

I said fans are getting carried away, and my man even agreed with me! Not sure why you've chimed in. We love Liam, but others looking in could argue he isn't much of a singer and wouldn't be wrong. In the 1990s however, that boy could sing and absolutely no one could deny it. That's a fact.

Even if he feels obligated to sing an Oasis song, it's still good and I'm happy. His voice is like a time machine. The atmosphere of the 90's suddenly returns, and for some reason I feel like my younger self is coming back, and I can remember the smile on her face after she passed away due to OD. It was a dangerous time for me, but at the same time it was the most sparkling.
