    Nice job on the video. I thought it looked cold & then realized it was February - better weather than what we have here in the middle of Winter. :) Nice that you can stop in so many places & enjoy the sites & bevies. I'll try & join you on my upcoming visit to London, Denmark & Portugal in May 2015

    Do you remember what the temps were there in London when this was made? Our temps (Southern Minnesota) were probably in the -15f (-26c) range in that timeframe, with snow and ice everywhere.

      @1001Darkeyes  Před 10 lety +2

      It was fairly cold not freezing but a wrap up day it got warmer later on in the day Feb is Winter here and can snow it was fear day with clear Sky that means the temp drops as soon as the sun disappears and can get bone chilling.

    I enjoy your videos and envy the scenic places you have available for triking. Here in Central Florida, we're limited to a few rail trails, which frankly offer very little in interesting scenery. Street riding here is pretty frightening, because many streets do not have bike lanes, and local drivers have little respect for cyclists.

    I live on top of and work near most of this Journey and never knew some of this was navigable by Trike. I can't wait to get my Gekko fx20 in early August this year and have a little blip out. Hoping to join you guys on a few trips.

  • @Colorcountryrecumbentriders.

    Love this ride Graham. Each time I watch it I find something new. What are the "shell" shaped structures that cross the Thames?? And if I had hair that long I sure wouldn't let it hang down by my rear de-railer. lol. Great ride, great video.

    @LogNotching Před 10 lety +3

    Graham, the timber structure at 5:30 is more than likely an, OPEN-AIR MUSEUM serving as a monument to old-world timber framing. The smallish pieces may further be representative of later frame styles when over-timbering dictated using what's left!

      Yes, I did but it took me a couple of viewing sessions. Sent you a query on what looked like old artillery emplacements. Also think I've eaten at the outdoor café at the 50:30 mark (1984?). Enjoyed the vid.

      Benefits of riding a trike: 1. Stability, never fall off you trike. 2. Comfort, no saddle pain. Less strain on your back, wrists, neck and knees. 3. Less drag, so travel faster and further. 4. Better breaking, due to 2 front wheel brakes. 5. Mirrors, so you look behind you.

    Graham, I was interested to see how well the Greenspeed GT3 kept up with the ICE trikes, as I ride a GT3 myself. Looks like it did quite well. Of course it had a much younger and lighter-weight "engine" than mine! :-)

      Yes well we have set rides which we do and rotate them, I and Adrian are members of the west middlesex cycling club, and when we were both riding them strang two wheeled upright things, we learnt a few set rides with them as it is an old club and some senior cyclists with long time knowledge of cycling roots. and we do some we have forged out ourselves. the summer is best with longer rides, in the winter we stick to just a few runs mostly London as there are plenty of stops for tea and shelter, I like to wander off on my own in the summer along the thames valley henley and Oxford way just to get lost as all roads lead to London, my camera, commarea are the really nice Flipcam HD the third generation has an image stabilizer, I cover the mikes as my erlea videos where some what noisy in the wind but have that sorted, there OK for 2hrs memory the batteries last longer so you do not have to have spears, they do not make them now the company that brought them out CIsco Decided the best hand held camera ever made was not worth investing in! strange but very stupid as there still changing hand at around £200 and if you're lucky you can still get a new one, I have been very fortunate I brought a new one some years back Version 3 and then got a nice second hand one, I use them mainly and I have two more another nearly new V3 on EBay really cheap and I have an older V2 thats great, I did have a v1 but gave that to barry to play with, I have tried other cams but there just not as good as the flip its a great frame rate and the light meete is excellent from light to dark you do not get that searching fluctuation its seamless plus it has a great little editing software downloade with in the camera to od on to your computer. the Guy that invented them was a genius and he sold it off to CIsco a large short sighted company,
