a lot more problems with ground and so many in air but yeah i'd love to play naval, the rewards and very boring modes just ruin it for me.

Good video, good suggestions, but every year people make basic suggestions that would improve the enjoyment of the game by a lot, and every time I see that it's the same suggestions. Nothing has changed in 10 years. Gamemodes? Yeah the ones are in is all you get. Here's another premium vehicle to milk, and another map to keep people not entirely bored. That's about it, I think there's nothing to be done here, devs are not interested in actually improving the game, they're simply using it for revenue stream.
Sigh...I think you are close but not quite there Dollar, there doesn't need to be a "tank only" mode what they need to do is RAISE THE FRICKING SPAWN POINTS so that getting a fully loaded CAS bird is a treat for doing very well, similar to the nuke, NOT the default state. I mean when I can get a single cap and a scout and spawn into a fricking F4U loaded with SNEBs? That is waaay too low a spawn requirement. Make it so you have to at least get an ace on the ground? Then it would be more fair and balanced.
I agree and I would like to have a Ground-Naval combined mode. I can't use my poor Ka-Mi. Coastal fleet and amphibious tanks would be fun in my opinion
And of course I want more researchable amphibious tanks, maybe landing crafts as well. Like the DD (Duplex drive) Shermans. It would spice up naval AND ground

i can get behind the "LET'S DO ALL THE THINGS!" in our battles. "want to attack? then go attack!" want to defend? then go defend!" wanna do more then just thinking you'll be doing nothing? Say no more!

A simple idea for nerfing CAS in RB: just more reward for killing planes. And show Air-spawn-camp planes on radar.
I think an aircraft counter should be up at all times, so all players know when aircraft are up. That way, it would encourage spaas to spawn in since they would know if/how many targets are available

Nah, just need to increase SP needed to spawn CAS, to around 700-1000 SP. If the player is good at using tanks, he deserves the CAS, not some people rushing forward, eat 2-3 shots, get an assist then J out and spawn a plane.

They need to add a bearing spawn system in naval. So you can choose what direction you want to spawn in. it will reduce the cluster fuck of spawning the current. As well was being able to see friendly bearing directions too.

Concerning the first bit of the video, Mr. Dollar, I concur with many of your points. We need to limit CAS in matches. I've started placing fighters into my lineup just to deal with pesky CAS. Honestly, a CAP fighter is one of the best ways to deal with CAS. Only problem is that an CAP fighter is almost as expensive to spawn in as a fully loaded CAS plane. Instead of raising the cost for planes, maybe raise the amount of SP for their secondary weapons/bombs. This might encourage people to spawn in CAP planes that would combat the incoming CAS. As it would take longer to get into a fully loaded CAS plane. Secondly, a ground EC battle would be absolutely epic. Gaijin just need to make bigger maps to accomidate the proper BR for each ground EC battle. Lastly, moving crew slots around without paying an arm an a leg of SL should already be a feature. Normally I plan out where my tanks are going, but it leaves me no room to experiment around with bigger lineups without coughing up some more SL. Glad you addressed these issues. I think fighters without secondary weapons should cost as much as a heavy tank, rather than barely being less than an attack aircraft.
Only issue with that is the Germans get 75mm cannons on some of their fighters which is already abused enough right now but would be in every german lineup if only the sp cost of secondary weapons are increased. Sure some other nations have similar planes, and willing to bet my left nut that there are premiums like that too. Wish the solution was as easy as that, but gaijin is so money hungry they unintentionally put in a bunch of exploits for whatever solution they eventually come up with.

@@nathan47911 Open tops are vulnerable to everything that isn't a solid shot tank cannon. That's not saying much. Getting sneezed on by an HE shell hitting next to them will kill them. It's the risk you take when you bring an open top.
4:19 started playing realistic for the first time in ages and CAS is the only reason ive decided ts not for me, ground vehicles feel better and are more fun to use compared to arcade but in most tanks you cant do anything to couter planes. In my first coiple games i got a ton of kills and generally enjoyed it more, from 3rd game on every death was either by cas or assisted by cas and i jut dont want to deal with that

The biggest problem of CAS in realistic ground battle is
1. "Too Easy to spot tanks without taking risk"
2. "Bombing is too easy and accurate"
so, may be this could be answers for that CAS issues.
1. Even in realistic GB, airplane control difficulties set to simulation.
2. 1 is too harsh? then only remove 3rd view from airplane (not touching gameplay much.)
(Too easy to spot tanks in close range, at least make them flip over to find tanks)
(Danger close pin point bombing should be hard for unexperienced pilots.)
(also at high BR, CAS could use pin point TV bombing, could feel how precious the new bombing tech)

3. Put some destrutable(giving some points when destroyed) AA defense near spawnpoint, not only airfield. This could stop the CAS players destroying the balance in early game.

Another option is to remove the airspawn (except for some bombers and seaplanes) and force everyone to take off from the air field, giving them less of a Birds Eye view on the way to the battlefield

Even the now ancient "Battlefield 1942" had Maps with Tanks, Planes, Ships (incl. Subs and Carriers) and Infantry all in the same battle. Of course it could be done!

WRONG! There was no submarines in Battlefield 1942. You are straight up lying on that one. There was carriers which you could spawn on in a plane or the landing craft but no control.., They had only player controllable Planes, Tanks, Jeeps (US & Japan specific vehicle's) and a wooden boat to get around with for japan. They also had the Air Raid bunker you could get in to control a formation of bombers flying in to bomb.
The removed infintry and ppl because the are greedy and want you to buy enlisted. I will never forgive them for removing infintry from war thunder.

4:33 combined arms with ships providing air defense for tanks looks quite interesting honestly, even more with later ships with missile defense able to lock on planes from affar, that's something I'd love to see because it's epic to be in a tank and see a rain of bullet tracers covering the sky

How about a game mode where one team has to attack an objective while the other team defends. Whoever destroys the attacks or defenders first wins. Then they move to the next objective. (Depends on who wins. If the attackers win the defends fall back to defend another objective. If attackers fail then defenders go on attack) Air and heli would be involved
Something like Operations Mode on Battlefield?!

Destroyers have the armour and firepower comparable to something like a jagdtiger, so if the big ships were involved they'd just yawn and delete the tanks with a salvo. Assuming they even notice the tank shooting at them

I feel like ships should have their own objective, and should spawn far away from the ground units. Also there would have to be a lot of cover for tanks

A game mode where ground forces need to capture a gate to allow the gunboats to come in for example. Even without those, some maps do have coast/large rivers, so being able to zoom around doing fire support and/or AA duties could be rather cool.
Definitely agree there needs to be more balance towards tanks in the land battles though. More expensive spawns when you have an entire enemy team's bombload, more rewards for downing aircraft (less kills for killing things as aircraft too?) would all help.
Instead of making a tank only mode, make it so pure fighters are much cheaper to spawn than aircraft with bombs/rockets. Like AA levels of spawn points. Count 30mm cannons as ground attack weapons to prevent abusing that. I often get 3-4 air kills off of one fighter in Ground Battles when countering CAS and it gives you a much more direct counter than AA, which requires someone to fly in straight easy-to-hit lines for reliable air kills.
could also make switching ammo belts to anything with over 10mm pen switch the plane into a high sp striker cost.. regardless of gun caliber... remember, some 20mms get aphe and theres the russian 25mms that annihilate pretty much anything thats not heavy with their ap belts

@@o-hogameplay185 That's the risk you take when you're in an open top. There's a downside to not being vulnerable to APHE or AP. You're easy to kill by anyone with machineguns/HE. They don't need to be in a plane to spray you with MGs or slap you with HE. Not to mention artillery.
And lol, I don't take CAS with me into ground battles, the only air I use is pure fighter in order to counter CAS. Unless you think the C.202 in the German tech tree has bombs? Talk about needing ad hominem to support your shitty argument. I'm a person who brings AA as my first spawn and spawns pure fighters. The last person you should be complaining about "needing CAS to compensate".

Great suggestions Dollar! The most frustrating part is how easy it would be to fix cas with just some of the suggestions without the need to remove cas entirely. A big boost to the rewards for spaa would be a great start!

I've always thought a good change would be to raise the BR of planes when they are brought into ground battles. It won't do anything for top tier, but in 4.0 - 7.0, SPAA is completely outmatched by fast attackers, packing multiple 1000lb+ bombs.
Trying to shoot down a jet with my non-radar assisted cannons from 1944 is a pain.
They should for sure separate tanks from aircraft, and have the combined forces as a different game mode. There's many "fixes" to CAS, but they will never properly balance it. You can't balance something that is on a completely different playing field from what you're supposedly trying to play.

When I started playing War Thunder in 2014, the ground maps featured AI anti-aircraft artillery (AAA) around the tank map, as well as bombing points for planes located farther back. Additionally, some maps included AI tank battles away from the main tank map.

A top feature you talked about is the crew slots. Some time ago I made a video were you linked the expert/ace to the vehicle itself instead of the slot. Natually you would not be able to use those features if you moved the vehicle to a slot with the base crew level below what is required for expert/ace. Add to this the ability to move the slots around, so players with a bit of OCD can make sure they, for example, have light tanks, followed by medium tanks followed by heavy, then planes etc.
Fixed spawn locations are so last century, have a look at Hell Let Lose, where they have EC style maps and 90+ different objective configurations per map. Spawn locations move forward/gets removed with progress on the map from either side. The blue and red zones starting zones are a good starting point.
it's amazing how much I agree with the points you mentioned. I've been playing war thunder since the beta and I'm having problems with missing large maps, and recently the maps have been made smaller for reasons unknown to me. limiting CAS or introducing a mode with only tanks is necessary, because I know from experience that many of my friends ended the game because of it... I literally agree with all the points

I really second the idea of making tanks be interchangable between crew slots, because you already train just the "crew" no matter the tank and when you buy in a new tank they retain the base crew level anyways. Its just an additional SL sink that a lot of people probably just try to avoid. Just integrate the crew training into the buy price and tie the expert / ace qualifications to the vehicle itself.
Another thing with people leaving after one death, give us an option to spawn in a second vehicle for free once every game without having the need of back ups. so you could always bring in one vehicle twice per game atleast.
❤❤❤❤man the naval part is all the wishes and problems i have , u are far real a great person to put all these problems on the table , the ranging shot and secondary part is literally what i was thinking from a long time , i just got my battleship and it has secondaries for anti ship whereas the other ship in my lineup uss new orleans has secondaries for aa so i have to constantly switch between the secondaries it would be nice if they add that toggling option , the spotting through fog is kinda not a very unrealistic thing imo because the ships don't spot the enemy convoys and enemy ships , it's the scout planes from carrier group or scout planes way before the ships are even in range to fire their salvos , altho scouting with planes could be added for the fog wars , like u will have to sling ur spotter plane and find the enemy convoy , but for that the spawns should be far and time should be much more because it might take some time to locate the enemy convoys , and i love all the suggestion i hope gaijin listens and add these suggestions because they are exciting , especially the convoy hunts like 4 bb's , some cruisers and destroyers surrounding a carrier and we'll have to sink the carrier , that would be very exciting , also the part where u talked about the aiming system i was also stuck at it for some time but when i got the hold of it it was soo much fun , even when i unlocked the battleship i was just doing no damage to other bb's , but when i rewatched some of ur bb vids i got the hold of how to one shot other bb's and since then my life has been very good😊😊

Ship AA is infamously OP, torpedo runs are among the most fun parts of naval but it’s impossible without cover with the current hyper aimbot
Also ship radar for foggy conditions is a really cool idea, it would play similar to night vision and thermal
the AI SKR-1 aimbot man, torpedo bombing is really only viable when theres island camping cruisers far away from their coastal spawns
There's a reason why squadrons of several planes would attack a ship at the same time instead of a single lonesome war thunder plane.
Ship AA is fine, there just needs to be a way of simulating control of multiple bombers or torpedo bombers.

@@thepeacockk well that would be a good reason for combined arms battles...have an EC battle where one team is ships and the other planes...then you could get a real US airforce vs musashi and yamato battle going with wave after wave of torpedo and bomb attack...honestly sometimes war thunder misses those huge spectacles of fights that naval and airforce really had...ground can get a bit hectic cuz you're usually in fairly close proximity...but air vs naval would be an awesome mode to play
1:29 we already kind of have this in game: Poland and fields of Poland, Sinai and sands of Sinai, maybe more, I forgot, but you get the point, and everyone already complains about those maps being “CAS dream” or “fields of fields” basically because it takes a long time to get in positions for tanks

CAS is main reason, why I use one tank lineup. I would love to have tank only mode where I can just focus on tank vs tank combat. Currently you can only experience this at first phase of match where everyone spawn in their tank.

@@Phantom-xp2co I tried to use SPAA but even then CAS still have advantage over you and in some case you have no chance like OTOMATIC vs F-16C. So only effective counter to CAS is basically CAP which mean another prolonged grind. And if you want to be somewhat effective you have to grind in ARB and I am not much interested in that. So easier solution is one tank lineup.
Well if you die to a tank and F# your team because of cas? That even didn't kill you.... Dude make no sense. Put at least AAA 1 2 or even all AAA lineup. Makes no sense to use only 1 tank lineup 🥱🥱🥱

The topic about the "emergency Spawns" is pretty interesting, didn't play the update yet but i'm stoked about the new golan heights air spawn system in Air RB where you spawn in the air, but along the front line rather than in a single point. This could be a valid solution for Ground Battle Spawn campers, too.
Man I really love how much dedication you pour into Improving naval battles, It was mostly thanks to you and a few videos of Yarnhub history animation that got me to try to grind germany navy and now that I'm doing it i can 100 % say i agree with your proposed changes

I agree, personally it would be an awesome spectacle to see a Battleship vaporize a poor Locust or any other tank like it, as well it would be something that I would like to see for all tiers as it could lead to more interesting games.
However, I do think if Gaijin did this they need to add more free slots so that players can actually have a competent lineup of tanks, ships and aircraft and not be weak in all or have none of one branch, as the 4 or 5 you get for free early on is not enough to have (what my personal lineup is usually) three tanks, a TD and SPAA as well some room for a plane or two, but then add naval to that and it gets to where you wouldn't have enough slots to have at least two tanks, a couple ships and a couple planes to really get the most out of the game mode.
That is unless they made it where you queued for a specific branch and played with only that stuff for the whole match, but that feels like it defeats the purpose of the whole game mode at the same time.
But those are just my thoughts so I could be wrong.

Some additional ideas I wrote down a while ago:
-For spawn camping, introduce either true spawn protection that lasts until one leaves the spawn (and maybe make the spawn boundaries somewhat randomized per match so people couldn't learn where those limits lie) and redesign the spawns around this, or add a secondary system where either attempting to shoot at enemies that are still invulnerable by spawn protection or shooting at enemies that still had it not too long ago would accrue some kinds of punishments, first in that match and if this behavior continues too long, even to the user's account. In the former idea, all vehicles that stay protected by their spawn for too long would lose the ability to damage aircraft (to stop AA from just sitting in the spawn all invulnerable) and in both ideas, to stop matches from getting too long, maybe disable or reduce the protection once either team "is close enough to losing", however that would be defined.
-For CAS, I thought simply making it so that any equipment, be it ammo, bombs, missiles, rockets, you name it, if it has any notable ability to damage armored targets, the additional SP cost they add to the plane's own cost would be drastically increased. This way, you could still spawn a plane with low SP but it would be limited to anti-plane duties. Additionally, there could be another effect or multiplier that would further increase the cost of anti-armor equipment the more planes with it there are already in the air on your side. The CAS isn't really all that annoying if they can't hurt you, after all. Anything that can effectively damage medium tanks and above would count for this.
-For AA, seriously, increase the rewards for shooting down aircraft. Also, would be really good if AA received their own version of scouting that would mark air targets only, not on the map but maybe give them reticles that help tracking them, but in return the scouting would last less time but would also have lower cooldown, requiring more regular "remarking". Maybe some AA if they had the equipment for it could also have an extra effect of also marking the target's estimated altitude at the moment they were marked.
-For leavers, in addition to the other ideas, a change in approach could also be tried. Rather than punishing leavers, the game should reward those who stick around. Not exactly sure how this should be done, but rewarding the player specifically for winning a "match hard fought" could really incentivize them to keep sticking in games in the future. Also, just remove the crew lock, it's not really being useful. The crew lock really doesn't play a part in the player's considerations when they are thinking of leaving a match. They are leaving because they believe they have no more opportunities at fun in that current match, trying the threaten them to stay in a match they no longer enjoy will just make them even angrier.
-Just a random idea I had, but change the daily daily and special tasks into a point-based system, where rather than having a specific task that needs to be done, the player instead needs to gain a specific amount of "task points" that can be gained by just playing matches, from destroying targets and getting assists to just staying alive long enough and capturing points. But the current system would still carry over in the form of "multipliers", where one specific action, such as kills on heavy tanks, point captures, assists, critical hits and such would be selected to have a large task point multiplier on them, still incentivizing the players to do that thing but also giving them the power to keep working on their dailies and specials their own way. And dropping a nuke would always finish whatever daily task you are working on, because you deserve it.
Yesterday i kill 4 planes with ostwind 2 ..and the reward is literaly shit. MONEY, POINTS and all...CAS is another shit, there are some planes with 3 huge bombs, nerf that, i dont know 1 huge bomb?. The bombers are almost useless except three, the pe8, lancaster and the german heinkel with the 2500...

this is a BIG W opinion and i love your ideas, (i broke a monitor because of CAS) it would be great to have these only tank game modes (im ground RB main) and these attack defend too. like when you drive your tank and if you die you can spawn in with your plane (it would be PvE ofc) and attack ground targets like cargo trains or something, Great Video!
The issue with a tank only mode is you try and take a ground pounding plane into air realistic (idk about arcade, only have a few games there), outside of a certain few very good planes it makes half the planes in some tech trees useless.

A tank-only mode would be fine, as long as they are not with new well-balanced maps, in the current maps it would not be possible due to very broken positions that are very difficult to deal with without cas
we all know cas players aren't smart enough to go after people in good spots to begin with, they go for easy kills since CAS shitters are inherently bad at ground RB
My man. I am a n00b player, just a few months. So - I agree with a lot of the things you said. The most egregious to me is the crew lock. I learned that I really need to plan where a vehicle would go, and what I want to do further down the line. 2. I like playing AA. A lot. True, the rewards are meh, but I like swatting them buggers off the sky. But also - a Tank mode only would also be awesome. Every time you play against US, and you think you are ok, 5 planes spawn and your entire lineup goes by by.

So far I agree with just about everything you said, I’m really only a ground rb/sb player but learning about naval too is very interesting and maybe someday I’ll get into it. If I do I’ll almost certainly have to watch more of your naval videos to try and learn some stuff
One thing that I’ve always wanted and surely many others is to be able to test drive any vehicle in any tree regardless of if the vehicle is researched, in research or locked out, it will allow the person to see which way they wanna go in a tech tree and to add on to that, to be allowed to have all the mods available when in a test drive

I agree with you man, and I want my panther 2 back along with the Flak Panther as well! I’d also like a tank customization option to where you can make your own unique tank, such as fender removal options etc. add a roadwheel to the turret or something 🤷 small things like that would be nice.

Very interesting video. I absolutely agree with most points. Like i started new tech tree and I am on 3.7 at the moment and out of 10 battles i got killed by planes 9 times. Sometimes even without a kill- like you have no chance to escape bombs. I would change that.
Also for spawns i would like the idea of spawn lines. Maybe an idea would be as well that you have a "safety zone" where the enemy wont grt points for killing you. Just none. And if that wont work maybe you even cant be killed in the spawn? But also i agree that we need emergency spawns but they need to be somewhere else all the time as the maps are so small the enemy will find it very soon.
For naval i agree as well- it looks a lot of fun to me but as we are not having a proper introductuon, i dont understand how to do stuff so i stay at ground battles. If we get an introduction mission like with tanks i would def give it a try

I've been a big player for Naval in WT for quite a while now (I have 3.3k hours and a good chunk were spent/wasted playing Naval), but I literally quited the game due to the issues that you named. Finally there's a youtuber willing to talk about WT Naval.
I would add other stuff like right now, the SMS Baden is an event vehicle that costs 45K PER STAGE!!! THAT'S A LOT!!
Many players have a life outside of WT and 45K it's an impossible mark, honestly. Gaijin needs to reduce the points needed for events like this because Naval IS NOT the same as Ground or Air RB, maybe to 30k or 25k. I literally spent Chrismass Eve and New Year's Eve grinding the Newsports instead of being with my family. The feeling of empthiness I felt can't ve described.
Second, I would reduce the price of repair cost. Because most of the time you spend 10 minutes trying to get out of spawn and not die, and the moment you actually start to fight, everyone is either dead or your ship is too crippled to fight.
Honestly I want to see WT's Naval be a good thing instead of literally pain.

Mr Dollar, I loved your analysis about the things that need to be added or polished in the game, and I wanted to add mine too, example are the two game modes simulation and helicopter PVE
simulation (tank and aerial): both mods need more objectives like those you mentioned in the other types of battle and also require specific mechanics for this type of mod
helicopter: pve helicopter is one of the most outdated and gaijin simply forgets to research mods out of the curveI recently made an email to suggest to War Thunder about mechanics that could be included in the game or at least improve those that already exist but unfortunately were left out of the road map, Mr. Dollsr I believe that with your voice our ideas can go forward and become This game is better, I really appreciate the space for me to leave some of these ideas

I have heard a couple of suggestions that may improve the CAS situation, and because I do enjoy the dynamic it adds to the game, I would hope we can find a middle ground that allows CAS to exist a bit more peacefully with GRB before it may dissapear altogether. Some of the things I’ve heard that sound promising : increase the rewards for eliminating aircraft, potentially adding a static reward for SPAA such as sim’s “useful action” mechanic that allows SPAA to earn rewards when aircraft aren’t present, adding replenishment zones near spawn such that SPAA have additional locations to refill ammo without being exposed, limiting kill cams such that the location of a player is not obvious (making it harder to revenge kill), forcing runway spawn for aircraft or otherwise increasing the time/distance required for an aircraft to reach the battlefield, increasing the spawn cost of aircraft, and the apparently incoming BR changes for aircraft that will make them have a separate ground and air battles BR. There’s probably some things I missed, but I think a combination of solutions like this would increase the balance between CAS and ground while maintaining the benefits to the game that CAS does offer.

emergency spawns would be a really cool solution to teams getting abselutely wrecked. Maybe that would also solve the problem of people leaving the match after dying once because they feel like their team would loose anyway. Matches would be much more balanced
Making the capture points a strategic area would also be great, like you said a radar station or something similar that gives a reason to hold and defend it. Right now most capture points are just a specific area of dirt in the middle of a map of dirt.

I will be happy to see a lot of the naval ideas some of the other GB and CAS stuff are in the roadmap for this year i think. I liked a lot the Naval ideas some of them are interesting and others will attract players just for the fun of it.
Great video as always Dollar! I agree with most of your points, specially the CAS issue in ground RB.
One thing I'd also like to see gaijin change is the AA in naval. In my opinion It's insanely OP. You just can't spawn a plane without having half of the enemy ships automatically target you and start shooting at you from like 3 km away. Getting within 1.5 - 2 km from a ship almost always means certain death. I've even gotten shot at by AA while repairing at the airfield. To make things worse, you have to be constantly maneuvering to throw off the AI's aim, which is pretty annoying and makes bomb/torpedo runs very difficult to carry out since you can't fly in a straight line for more than 2 seconds or else you'll get vaporized.
I don't spawn planes very often in naval, but when I do I find it pretty frustrating. I honestly don't know what could be done about this. I just think AA shouldn't be useless, but it also shouldn't be as OP as it is now. There must be a way to balance it.
Ideally you would want to use cover when possible, but the problem is most maps don't have tall enough islands for sneaky approaches. Better map design would be nice
i love your idea, i hope u get well soon and maybe war thunder could add big smoke shels for ships so u can fire at campers behind a good position so he has to move and u can spawn more easily

In higher tiers, bigger maps + tank only + spawn area to whole "side" could be the solution to eliminate "one death and away" as in top tier for example, there is no incentive to respawn in another vehicle as you probably will get killed to spawn by drone, heli or laser guided bomb from 5 km altitude. Also leaving early penalty needs to be adjusted as if you are only survivor and quit, you get 2-6 minute penalty anyway. Good points in the vid.
Working lights for tanks ship and planes for night battles i mean the spot light on the vehicules. For planes it would help a lot for night landings and for realistic

Hi dollar, I really like your videos. I agree with everything you said. And even if I find cas cancer sometime I pretty like to play it. It is because it’s the best mode for plane. It is really realistic, you don’t have HUD, so skill and monitoring is important to defeat an other airplane.
In the « air realistic » battle nothing is good. Bombers spawn to low and their objectives is to personal to force bombers to work together. You can see a plane a 10km because of is name appearing. Of course you know which aircraft it is. It’s feels like a arcade mode in the end..
I wish they can improve that too and set a real mode for plane where you don’t have hud like in tank battle
Would definitely like to see Enduring Confrontation for ground, MBT's or top tier would be very fun to have something like it, down to maybe the mid Cold War battle rating range if not Cold War overall being included (even WW2 would be nice but that's a bit of a big ask). Some maps that heli's get for PVE or their own EC game mode look like they'd have potential (Sun City is an alright example from what I remember), or expanding some Ground maps we already have like 'Middle East.'

I've had the idea for quite some time (I know I am likely not the first one) and that is to add mid-tier scout planes for any nations, ex would be L-2 American scout plane where it would have the same mechanics as the high tier drones, if not actual scouting like light tanks around the 3.7 or 4.0-5.3 or 5.7 range. The Fi-156 for Germany, Po-2 for Russia (2.0-3.0), Britain could have the L-2 in British camo sceme or the Mosquito but for higher tiers, like 5.3-6.7. It would use a more "realistic" approach to tanks, and hopefully not to benefit CAS

I think this type of video is pretty good. Players that have a lot of time in game sharing their ideas about how to make the game better. Newer players get an understanding of what they are getting into. Obv.s the over all sharing of info is good to understand how the overall play works for different people. Although I think this is free labor/ labor of love for Gijin and they should pay people for this input but what are you going to do. A few other things your English is perfect I have known native English speakers that cant speak as good as you. Also their vocab was smaller. I mean I guess maybe just own it (not to say that you cant or shouldn't get better, cause I think all speakers can evolve in their lag skills) but if people have a tuff time understanding you they can stuff it and attune their ears. I think Native English speakers have a difficult time understanding people that have an accent because they cant grasp that language is as different as it is all over the world and a little whatever anyone adds to is throws them for a loop. Also if you are going to use a note pad try "Notepad++" its really good and I dont think its as invasive as wordpad. Your Vids are I think still underrated. Have a good one and thanks for the vid
One thing I want is for settings like gun convergence distance on planes or shooting secondaries with main guns on ships to be vehicle-dependent, so each vehicle can have its own settings. Like, it's really annoying having to switch the second one for ships every time I go from a destroyer or cruiser to a battleship and vice versa.
I think one thing this game needs is ranked match making, teams are sometimes very unequal and this would fix it a lot
I agree with so much of this. Every time gaijin asks for our "opinions" I say about the objective style game mode. It would make the game so much better than A,B,C. Never going to change though.
the problem that I find in boat and the fact of only being able to appear three times it would have to be the same system as that as long as we have enough points we can reappear with other boats I am quite agree with the other points you raised
I think a really good example of the map idea he has in the video is Ardennes because the actual map is massive but we only see smaller bits of it, if we get an EC gamemode I think we would need a map about the size of Ardennes for it work properly. and I want to see the big Ardennes for a top-tier game.
My 2 cents...
- Cammo netting, yes, when you enable it you can't move.
- Spawn line, awesome idea probably will solve a lot of spawn issues.
- Crew slot rearrangement thing. Keep in mind that each crew slot represents a crew of people that have learnt that skill, so being able to move then around like that does not make any sense. It's a pain but you really need to be strategic about which crews you skill up.
- Combined arms would be awesome. A ground battle on the coast with ships out at sea, CAS could bomb tanks or planes and land on carriers. Big guns like the G6 could fire at ships.
- I'd also like to see a mechanic that allows/assists you in performing long range artillery. (I have seen this done with a drone, but a guidance system built into the tank would be better).

For the spawncamp problem I thought about invincibility and invisibility as long as you are in the spawn and after shooting or leaving the spawn you are visible and after a few seconds the invincibility disappears and also add some lines to the spawn so you can know where the limit is

For the spawncamping issue , i think one of the main factor is the maps theyself , gaijin probably hired monkeys for it level design team because yeah puting a spawn point in an open field with no cover (like on european province) or in a hole with really steepy slopes so you can't aim the spawn killer because not enought gun depression (like the south SP on carpathians) or with big choke point (like on 38th parallel) seems like really good idea , without speaking of the really nice compfy spots like castle on carpathians or the north east SP on aral sea where you have a really nice view on enemy SP(with some tanks it's really ridiculous like with the vidar , it's tall enought to be able to shoot over the shipwreck in front of the spawn which should protect freshly spawned tanks) i swear 3/4 of my games are "go for the spawn point , don't bother with capture point" because easy kills and easy money, very interesting.

I recently got back into naval for the bp, like it a good bit, fun to try to target parts of ships but I've realized even though I'm 4.7 I keep going against ships with 1000+ personnel, tri gun turets and are in general just massive, make it hard for my little german ship to fight back.

As for ground combat, I fully agree, but especially with the changes to CAS and camo net, I would also reverse the changes to missile spaa so they can try to hit slightly turning aircraft.

Idk I’d it’s any good but my idea to help fix CAS is to have only the losing team (one with less tickets/kills) able to spawn in with planes, after a certain amount of time or points have passed
