What do you guys think, should the Flakpanzer 341 be back in the tech tree for research?
Naah, they can't properly balance or even get the abilities/stats right for vehicles that actually exist, they'll have no chance of getting this, or any "paper" vehicles right.

Of course. I don't get why they would remove vehicles at all, is there ever a good explanation as to why?
I like what gaijin has done with the latest dragon boxes event. They should include these removed vehicles to the drop-pool.
@@mitchwatson6787 yes. Dollar even said it in begining of the video. Coelian, Tiger II 10.5cm and Panther II were never completed. I see no reason why these wehraboo wet dreams should be ever bringed back. Gaijin should also remove all vehicles that are still in game but in reality were never completed
Yup let's replace the totally unrealistic completed wooden mockup with a *checks notes* Ostwind II which never existed. Great job Gaijin!

@@threadworm437 More like making things easier on CAS; its easy to kill the Ostwind compared to the Coelian.
@hoojiwana_17 coelian is also a full tier higher. Skink gets a fully enclosed turret at the same br as the ostwind but the 6.3 coelian gets nuked from the game

@@threadworm437 the skink is more like a wirbelwind, german aa was only moved to such a high br because there is so many good aa players played them but now that german aa got nerfed (lower turret traverse, rof and HE fragmentation) the 40mm is a much better aa even though you can be gun strafed pretty easy

I use it all the time. Easily one of the best conventional AA. So many planes assume you're in something they can easily pen
I prefer it over the Kugel, used to be the other way until the kugel was nerfed into the floor

Ostwind can be in because it's easier for CAS to kill. CAS is how Gaijin makes their money. As soon as planes and things associated with them stop being worth buying, Gaijin r fucked.
If you want to play tanks, War Thunder is not for you. You and your misfortune is the commodity that Gaijin sells to people who buy plane stuffs.

As a German main I really wish I could have this thing but of course gaijin took it out before I started playing.
Took it out yet kept it in the game if you already had it, absolutely ridiculous🤣
How can they take it out for being unrealistic but still let people have it, they should of been rewarded research points to spend and some GE or SL.

@@Mr.Plankton.I think I might be the only guy who "has" all 4 vehicles, but I never finished researching them, so I have never played them, cause I kinda quit the game, when they were taken away and never really came back.
It's so funny because recently I gave my German 6.7 lineup another try and because of the spam of planes and some pretty light armored vehicles (I'm looking at you M18) I've been enjoying playing the coelian much more than ever before. In on of my games I've almost even got a nuke with it which is still so hilarious to me.

I just got 1-tapped in my Object 279 (as usually happens), so I alt-tabbed out and see a new DollarPlesi upload. Mood immediately improved. Smile restored.

Why can’t you unlink? I have all the removed tanks (been playing since 2013) on the PS account and just started the unlink process as they FINALLY opened the queue
@@ObamaFleshlight If you got to the Gaijin support site and look at the section about unlinking accounts, it says "we have ceased unlinking accounts at this time/" or something like that
You can transfer accounts again
As I consistently tell my friends, "I am doing God's work taking out CAS and an Angel gets wings for every one I shoot down". I wish I had the Coelian in my AA stable. As it is now, I rely on my AA skills to grind events and Battle Pass tasks. Great vid as always - TY Dollar (oh & the statement at 6:18 - I couldn't agree more)

Funky little thing about German WW2 37mm AA guns, they seems so lack half of its actual penetration, its supposed to have around 70-80 ish penetration with the AP rounds

This thing is at such a sweet spot in the tech tree where American CAS is at its most overpowered and they have gone up their whole tech tree being able to strafe AAA.
But, it suffers from the worst of War Thunder weaknesses: bad mobility.
Shame it was removed.

I quite love the German 37mm AA guns: they're not so small as to do little damage, and they're not so large as to have too low a velocity. It's a shame that I'll likely never get this vehicle...
In other news, I artied my first plane today, and it was a Yak-9T too, so I was quite happy. It's also funny because I got artied while in a plane for the first time at the beginning of last week.

YUSS DOLLAR PLAYS THE COELIAN! Ohhh man! I've wanted this for so long! Reason why you were missing is because the mine shell round travels at around 914 m's, it is FAST and therefore will miss against slower prop planes (no problem hitting jets though)

The 37mm cannons on the Coelian most likely would have been belt-feed and using ammunition with higher muzzle velocity. Something like a larger Mk 103.
The FlaK 44 that we have in-game, basically just a FlaK 43 with different name, like on the Ostwind II, feeds clips from left and right but there is no space for the clips to be ejected.
So this side by side set-up wouldn't be possible with the guns.
AA is my favourite part of the game. Getting both plane and tank kills in things like the gepard is always so satisfying to me
In my experience, anything rocking an autocannon is doomsday for enemy armor of any integrity. Zoggin tin kanz can't handle da big dakka!

Historical accuracy doesn't mean anything in this game anymore, they should just add them back right and proper
I play this game since 2013 andthankfully got the Coelean. Now since they add new tanks all the time, I now have all tanks below 8.0 and can research the Maus XD. I startet researching it before it was removed (just one battle) and now I finally get to research it fully. I like to reasearch all vehicles in order according to BR. Will take me 3 month or more though, 'cause I dont play regularly XD
