First you don't need to change the boot order from BIOS. When computer boot you can press the F12 to show the boot menu.
Second, are you sure your touchpad was working during first steps of Windows 10 installation? I am almost sure that you used an external mouse in first steps.

I had the same issue, turned off the laptop put usb into the port, then turn it on again, and press F2 and it will show up USB also in legacy, probably on second place.

Yes, that's right as mirza said ! You should connect the usb disk before switching on or just reboot the laptop and then set it as first boot in the bios.

Open disk management ( click start and type disk management) and there you can notice unallocated space when you select your hard drive on the left side. Right click on the unallocated space option and then select create partition.

I changed my hard drive for a new one, try to install windows using usb boot but it doesnt worked.
I thought it were the usb ports, but the windows files seems to be loading at the beggining then suddenly stopped.
i tried everything.
it was windows installer in the usb, some fiel was deleted or some AV ate some file and that's was the problem. I just rufus the usb again and then it worked.
