Holy shit, I knew APCR loses more pen over distance, but the GSOR is a truly special case here.

Even the Manticore goes from 268 to 226 APCR pen at 500, even though it's a part of WGs "castrate the lights pen" program.
Maybe they want you to scout instead of snipe at back like td 😮
@@chrisvig123 don't defend WG here. Yes you should scout when you can, but only about a third of the maps allow for the kind passive scouting manticore is designed for. You need to have damage dealing capabilities even as a light.

One of my favourite tds. Absolute beauty of a tank if you read minimap and plan ahead while reloading. For masters of autoloaders this is incredible strong tank. Its worth to note gsor is a pretty heavy tank with bit of armor and ability to get alot of speed, making it a pretty good at ramming. Countles medium tanks have killed them by ramming my gsor.

My "problem" with those kind of reviews is not the review itself but the setup around the review. Having an extraordinary commander (Skill) playing with an extraordinary crew, extraordinary equipment and probably extraordinary consumables (directives, food) will of course absolutely show what the tank is capable off, something that Skill does masterfully on a regular basis. However this is usually not how the tank will behave when driven by an ordinary commander (e.g. me) using an ordinary 2 to 3 skill crew, using ordinary equipment and/or using consumables just occasionally. One example for this would be the gun handling of some tanks, e.g. the amount of snapshots missing, which in between maxed out setup and "regular" setup - and apart of bad aim on behalf of the player - can truly become astronomical. As such I would greatly appreciate a category like "crew/consumables/equipment dependency" if this aspects of a tank are not already ought to be covered by "beginner friendliness". Just my 5 cents and a thumbs up of course!

Nice vid Skill. Actually this and charioteer were the only 2 tanks I have decided to 3 mark, you can easily not pay too much attention to them but they both are quite deadly bananas imho.
Skill says “this is going to be a quick battle” and then the game ends with him baaaaarely getting the last kill with less than a second remaining! Literally all 15 minutes used 😂
Same happened on El Halluf, when he just said "we are spanking everyone left, right and center" and got instant karma 🤣

I just want to know how your accuracy stays so good during the quick bursts, I have a pretty good crew and setup in this and the RNG gods just decide that 2 of the 5 shells need to yeet themselves into the ground every clip.
I have same feeling about GSOR. For me it okayish tank-but i am not playing it that much

I have the tank bought it 2 days ago its a beast it has armor in the kupola and you can bounce with it sometimes not most but sometimes and when you go in you get 11 hundred to 13 its really a beast and its a credit maker even with gold if you get a lost you get like 40k from the game and 30k are your
I bought that beauty of a vehicle after the Video. For me it has a godlike gun, better behaving than the leopard gun. I played some games and i absolutely love it. Its decent at finishing those BZs which are too confident about themselves.
I really like my GSOR 1008. I have had some good games with it.
I have one of these and have never played with it. I'm not so fond of autoloaders. I'm not sure i'd get on with it. When the Lorraine 40T was a thing I couldn't make it work, sadly. But then I have the new Chinese BZ thing and haven't played that either! I quite like my new Iron Arnie thankyou very much!
GSOR is much better than Lorraine imho. Lorraine has a horrible gunhandling that u wont hit all shots from your clip when not playing full gold ammo. Even with full gold u need to be a very good player to make Lorraine work. It does not forgive any mistakes because it has 0 armor. GSOR has far better gunhandling and better penetration but is much slower. BZ is stupidly overpowered. I played 3 battles with it and one of them was above 5k. And i am just a 51% player.
That last game...whew..nice
When this tank was first released, everyone was going on about the 321 gold pen. Then you read the fine print and find that is only at point-blank range. It drops off fast, to only 220 at 500m.
This tank feels like a mini WT E 100 if you are top tier

@@anyway9058 Mid but if you meet someone who know how to use it it can f up everyone trust me. Iam averaging around 2.5k dmg per battle. In 112 games. 2 marks of excellence and going for the 3rd one.
Just got gsor and altproto from opening 50 shamrock chests + other things. Solid banana I would say.
So....... if i bought this tank i would only have +2 tier MM 100% of the time, as i get with EVERY other tier 8 tank i own. would have been nice to see a tier 10 battles as this would have been real world for me.

I'd disagree that it needs to spam gold to be honest, I would rate ammo at maybe at 2 or 3 stars but not because it needs to spam gold, because gold ammo is so bad in this tank unless you are close it has (like skill and others here have already said) huge drop off you may as well be shooting normal AP (which is what I and other people I know do) otherwise you lose TONS of money per game and it makes NO difference in pen over a decent range. Because lets be honest we aren't going to be front line with this TD as it is made of paper. (Especially in most games where you are vs tier 9 and 10) which this video doesn't show as he is top of the tier in all three videos (which I wish he would have shown some tier 10 games)

I struggle to make this tank destroyer work. I know that it is incredibly strong, but something with it just doesn't click for me. I hope I can figure it out, sooner than later.
Gsor seems to have a simmilar game play to tier 10 TVP. Am I right?

The main problem with this tank is the crew. I can't really train a higher tier crew as it has so few crew members. Really sad.
Skill you say Vipera is bad but I am a returning noob and easily got 5k damage at my first game with Vipera while I keep having bad games with BZ. Vipera reload time feels like 4 seconds and it is very accurate close range.
I love the concept of BZ because I love loading prem big ammo with KV-1 and go sidescrape oneshot tanks doing premium tier 8 damage games with it. BZ is very similar to KV-1 in that way but KV-1 gets huge pen for its tier from its prem while BZ gets less pen than everybody else's regular. Even red XVM players turret peek with their 300 to infinity turret armor and I can't hit the cupola when they keep wiggling the turret while reloading to slice me like cheese. If I rush them I get nuked by backsitting TDs.
WG gives good games initially with new tanks…once you have a while the rigged soft stats will destroy you and most games losing 😮…that’s the way WG trick u

I have gold and I see that sale but something tells me I will be crying in garage with this vehicle. I can't even utilize the AMBT I got. I wanted to see if Skill would say this tank is epic godlike and she is BZ's little sister so I would rethink buying it but he basically said it is only good if you are a successful autoloader addict.
My GSOR 1008 has better accuracy than my AMBT. I have quite a few sniper schnitzel medals on my GSOR 1008, most of them on Heaven map.

Remarkable games, outstanding in fact but it's a "finesse tank". Shooting APCR at a distance is as you said - pretty lame and seeing this is no brawler but a TD you CAN farm credits but common to a lot of games it becomes the credit machine for opponents counting your spent rounds that'll pursue you and then it's back to the garage too often for the bulk of the gamers.
I am 100% sure now he gets some payment from WG. On sale now? After the Su 130pm video…

It's like that with selected battles, but most battles are MASSACRE and don't last more than 4-5 min., most times we play with level 9-10 tanks and there's no way to play without gold shells! From your replay, there were 2 battles with level 6 tanks and 1 tier 9 tanks, but the tier 9 ones were soft tanks ;) .It's not normal for a premium Tank to charge that long/1 shell in 10 seconds, more or less/!They're not what it was a while ago the premium tanks...unfortunately!

it's easy for you to talk about your every stream when you have a free account and get paid by wargaming.. out of 50 fights you choose the one you played best and throw salt in the wound..
you just need to watch some rounds and you know why the rounds are rarely over 5 minutes only

compare this with the 50 100 which has no armor far worse gunhandling and intra clip longer reload lower gd
