  • In this video I descride the process I used to upgrade my Sideshow 1/6 Harley Quinn figure on to a phicen/tbleague s25b body. I sped the video up to save time but the process is there.
    SOMEONE IN THE COMMENTS MENTIONS THAT THEY GOT AN S25 BODY AND IT SAYS IT WAS NOT THIS SAME BODY. I'M NOT SURE BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT USED AND WAS TOLD IT WAS THE S25.
    The only thing I don't show in the video is the preocess i used to fit the boots onto the feet. Itrequired me to cut slits into the white tube part inside the boot sections.
    Thanks for watching

    Dam I never thought about sewing vertically and using that hook needle. No wonder my threads are so exposed. I used a S20A phicen on mine and it looks so sexy.

      Did you have to mod the head or anything to get the head or hands on? I’m thinking about doing this body swap because mine broke almost immediately after I took it out of the box.

      I use Tacky Tak for the head. I also removed the boot pegs and issued the phicen feet ones.
      Use heat to pop the hands on

    In case anyone cares, this is definitely not the s25b body. I just got one to do this swap and the pegs (neck, hands and feet) are all too small. The neck and feet aren’t really an issue as blue tac holds them on well enough, the hands I had to hot glue on because otherwise they will just fall off. The body is definitely better proportions as the original is way too tall.
    If I had to guess the body in the video looks more like a s22a. I wish I had gone off looks more than the number because now I’m kinda stuck with it as I can’t return the body I bought.

      @@609collector I actually like the smaller body size. Makes more sense for Harley. My only real gripe is the hands. I’m trying to figure out a way to make them swappable without some kind of crazy mod.

    • @609collector
      @609collector  Před 2 lety

      Try wrapping them in something maybe tape, thread anything to bulk them up. As far as the head. You could probably get something on ebay. I'm pretty sure they make something for the neck pegs to make them a bit thicker. It may be a plastic tube that slides on to it. As far as the mystery body I have. The head peg is slightly too large and the head just manages to fit and the feet did require a mod. You could paint the hand that came with the figure and seal them in clear coat. Get some nice paint from citadel or velajo. The kind used for miniatures. You can probably find an exact color match that way. As for the feet and head. Those pegs would be easier to build up. Good luck.

    Hey dude. I really want to do this swap. The body you mentioned is on big bad toy store but I want to know if you had to modify the hands or neck to get things to fit?

    • @609collector
      @609collector  Před 2 lety +1

      No the hands fit. The head is just a little bit small it will fit but it may pop off so I would recommend heating it before you put it on. You will have to modify the boots. I had slice the inside of the boots a bit to get the fit but it's a simple mod that looks awesom.

    Hello, thank you very much for your explanatory video, it's cool! Say, to be sure, can you tell me the size of your harley quinn now? In centimeters :) to be sure. Because the sizes for body's phicen are not detailed. Because I have to change the body of my sideshow which is broken at the joints of the legs. Thank you very much in advance 😁

      ? Don't get what you mean.
      This is the older SS version of Harley Quinn from a few years ago. You can find it on ebay and you may be able to find it for a good price since a new one is coming out. I like the look of this one better though. The new one has a shiny pleather suit and an ugly unmasked head sculpt.
      This body is a phicen body I got from someone on Facebook for a good price. You can buy phicen/TBLeague bodies on ebay for a good price. I was told this one is the S25B body. But they come in a variety of body types, skin tones and bust sizes.

    • @609collector

      This body looks better under the costume. The main reason is because the leg on the original figure came off when the plastic around the hip joint crumbled and fell away.
