I just got this figure in my shop yesterday and was honestly surprised by how my h I liked it! I was not expecting it from a Sideshow Catwoman but honestly it’s a good release!

So the first thing I notice right away is the box that has claw marks, eye goggles and an image of cat woman that looks nice.
I see the accessories and there seems to be quite a few nice ones. I also love the diamond, I’d pick up another one to replace the old ones.
I don’t care for the angry head sculpt in this figure. I think she should have even smiling rather then angry but the execution is nice and it’s fun to be able to switch between both the calm and angry sculpts.
The outfit is definitely cat woman and I didn’t know that there was a cat that came with her. She looks like the Black Widow outfit. It’s too bad that the body is not the right color.
It’s great you can exchange bodies.
I guess the outfit has Lycra or is a knit pattern that moves at the bias.
The harness could have been nicer and a better accessory.
She looks amazing next to Batman so there was some thought in how she would appear next to her counterparts. I can see what you mean about the height.
I had no idea that the body from this 2014 figure was so fragile. So surprised that the figure has so much glue to hold it together.
Perhaps the previous owner had the same problem?

I wonder why they don’t do a cat woman the way they did the Alita figure?
The pose of cat woman on the Batman base is nice, especially the pose where she’s laying down with her diamond.

Damn that blue and grey Batman figure looks badass. Great video Justin. Maybe get someone skilled to repaint the heads first. Pale skin - Green eyes - Red lips, then match the body to the new paint jobs. Look forward to seeing her all finished. Ps, you can usually find little cat figures in early learning kids toy shops.

Looks amazing and I love that she could fit in with the Arkham VGM line as well as the comics. As for Phicen you gotta go medium or even small bust, suntan for sure, with slender hips as suggested by Linda. Sometimes Phicen goes a bit crazy with the "buxom" ness and it becomes impossible to get the outfits to zip up

Hey Justin. Thanks for the inspiring review. I upgraded the broken Sideshow body because of you. Quick question. How do you fit the sideshow boots on the Phicen body? I had to order Kimek boots (they are loose but OK). Would rather use Sideshow boots.
No problem! I removed the soles off the boots then modified the Phicen feet by trimming them down until they were just the ball joint holder. I then glued them inside the emptied out soles

The phicen body is alot better, the neck of the original body was too thin anyway. Made the head look oversized like a bobble head.

Nice. I bought this figure the other day because of this video. Thanks Justin. anyone wondering how to get the boots to work with a phicen body I have pics showing how if interested. It does take a little modding. But not hard to do

I used a phicen s17b. The boots have to be modded to work.
I can give you instructions and pics on how to but I'm at work so it won't be for another 7 hrs when I get home. You have to pull the soles off and replace the sideshow foot peg with a peg from the phicen foot. It's easy if you've done stuff like that before, If not it can be a bit tricky.. If needed I can mod it for you, I've done it for a few people..
@@Hades-vp3gu Hey, I don't have the pics anymore. you're the 1st person in a year that's asked for them. using a heat gun or hair dryer, warm up the soles of the boots, and separate them from the boot. you'll see the black hole peg. warm that up and with a pair of pliers pull it off the sole, then take the phicen feet and cut out the foot hole peg. glue it in the boot, it's a perfect fit. then glue the boot back to the sole. take your time, it's easy with patience. I've done 8 of them myself. takes a few minutes each
Just heat up the head from underneath a little and it will pop on with a little force, once it cools it will be easy to pop on and off, and the hands fit fine as is
I personally think that the eyes could be closer together.

considering there are reviewers of female Phicen bodies where they paint the nipples, I don't think you have anything to worry about. She looks great with the new body, glad you were able to find one that works for you. With the various body shapes the female Phicen bodies, I've found that sometimes they can be a bit too hippy to fit in some figure outfits. thanks Justin!

Hey Justin, how did you manage to fit the boots in the phicen body?
I modded the heck out of them, I cut up some Phicen feet until it was just the ball joint and then glued that into the boots

This is a pretty good Catwoman 1/6th scale figure, even though it has a few shortcomings along the way. I like both head sculpts, especially the one with the angry facial expression. The eyes appear to be sunken in, but that's because of the eyeliner that was applied. Catwoman's face has a bit of warmth to it, which I appreciate. On the other hand, the chest area is of a different shade of skin tone when compared to the face for some reason (minus the yellowing that has occurred with your figure). As good as the figure looks, the biggest issue is in regard to the underlying body that Sideshow Collectibles opted utilize. The body itself is lightweight and the joints tend to get loose over time. It's also very cheaply made, which is no excuse for a figure that costed almost $200 retail price when it came out back in 2014. The neck is too skinny. The same is true for Catwoman's body, which is also a bit on the skinny side. She should obviously be curvier and bustier. For some odd reason, the skin tone for the arms, sternum area and legs is made out of black plastic, which is rather jarring to say the least. As you've already mentioned, the side strap that holds the whip utilizes a very weak magnet. The same is true for the belt as well. Speaking of belt, it sits way too loose. The figure comes with a pretty good amount of accessories. Sure, the display stand is simplistic, but it gets the job done. By the way, the Phicen body upgrade makes a huge difference when it comes to the Catwoman figure overall. Articulation has been greatly improved as a result, which was limited when it came to the original body. Otherwise, thanks once again Justin for another wonderful and enjoyable video review. I really appreciate the hard work. Keep it up!

This must be the weakest DC comics sideshow figure, the paint on the face and the body don’t match, the face itself is mediocre and you have freaking Catwoman that is NOT flexible (mobility of the figure is really not that great), I mean Sideshow usually does a great job and the dc comics line is great but they dropped the ball with Catwoman definitely

So unattractive. Catwoman is my favorite DC villain and is gorgeous when done right. This one is downright ugly. And I've never liked this suit with the goggles. We definitely need a purple suit version, that was the best.
