I wake up before my kids .. about an hour earlier than they wake up .. and i go to sleep after my kids and I truly feel that is enough time alone.. I homeschool my children .. i cant imagine sending them to school for six hours ..

Same here! I actually love being around my children. It's heartbreaking to know the mindset of alot of parents in regards to sending them to public school, is just so they can get an all day break from their children.

I been thinking about this a lot lately as it’s almost time to send my daughter off to school I don’t want her to be gone all day I think often like my little baby who is clueless about the world has to go to a strange environment all by herself w a bunch of strangers like it just doesn’t sit right w me but at the same time I know I’m not enough for my daughter she needs more stimulation she’s super smart and just loves school and learning always has and she loves making friends and I’m just not enough like I am not equipped to homeschool and she needs to have more socialization but I’m the complete ppposite of social and we don’t have the money for homeschooling ugh I’m in a frenzy about this topic idk what todo most likely I’ll send her to public school bcuz private school or anything like that is too expensive idk I think it will be the best thing for her she will love it and she will strive I just know it’s better than keeping her home all day I feel like I make them bored I have a little newborn I breastfeed on demand so that’s what makes it hard to fulfill her day if not everything would be a lot easier but I’m also more on the lazier side too tbh like I’m only barely working on getting up earlier and earlier

The other day I was at mamies (We are 4 siblings 2 years apart) and I was telling her how I look forward to being like her. She’s an empty nester now we are all grown and she always has her house neat, her self care is on point and she just has it all together. She told me “Mamita, every step in life is different. She told me to enjoy my messiness and my kids because with a blink of an eye they are grown and gone it gets to quiet” when she told me that it opened my eyes. She misses our noise and our messiness lol I gave her a big hug. Time does go by fast. We need to enjoy every moment the good and the not so good. Sometimes motherhood is sooo frustrating. But it will get easy.

Jady, do you realize how much I appreciate you! ❤️
I'm African married to African American, I can tell you I have never heard women complaining about motherhood as much as I have heard in America. Also, I put my second and third child in my back when they were smaller. It is the most comforting place a crying baby can be on top of it, the mother has free hands.

I homeschool three children each day even though we don’t have nap anymore we have at least one hour of what we called quiet time. No matter whether I sleep or not or if I’m having a rough day I can look forward to that and it helps me push through. But you’re very very right about not seeking comfort because the more moments you have the more you’re gonna want and we do need to be serving our children during this precious time. Thank you so much

Such a good message! I come from a broken home and the Lord is teaching me how to be a Godly mother with a Christ-centered home. We need deep prayer in the morning in God's presence to fill our own cup, bear fruit and not react out of the flesh as we walk in the Spirit. We can rely on God's strength through the Holy Spirit to help us. We are always being refined as we walk in sanctification and have Christ formed in us! Pray specifically about struggles and He is faithful!

Your video made me cry it touched me so much the way you described children being a part of our lives rather than "what do we do with our children". So often they are treated as an inconvenience in society. I am home schooling my first year, my 6 year old. I have a crazy 2 year old with alot for emotions and tantrums and I am 38 weeks pregnant going through a difficult pregnancy with health problems. It has been such a hard year and sometimes I wish to give up. But it truly is such a short amount of time they have in childhood. Thank you Jady ❤️

I remember my firstborn didn’t know what to do with his Thomas trains. He was sooo little. I pretended to talk and act out scenes from the shows. It helped him to realize HOW to play. He was so happy that I took time with him. My second born was very creative and she loved baby dolls. She even would “nurse” her baby dolls. So cute!!!!

I'm a first time Mom and stay at home Mom. I started to feel discontent being home this week but your words reminded me of why I wanted and am blessed to be home with him. He's almost 2 and a half and it's difficult for me to know what his needs are when he's fussy. I'll be more intentional with figuring it out rather than thinking he needs to go play in order for me to be "comfortable". I really feel convicted and glad I watched this video. This video really resonated with me, as I have many of the same thoughts and ideas. I'm often made to feel as though I'm strange for enjoying being around my children most of the time, which makes me sad. Motherhood isn't always easy, but that's okay and part of life. I love simply living life with my children. I began watching your channel when my eldest was a baby and I was looking for sensory/Montessori activities (over 5 years ago), and you have truly inspired my journey into motherhood so much, for which I'm very grateful. I always had this idea of homeschooling which I believe God put upon my heart, and your videos really gave me the confidence and belief that I could do it. Home educating is such a blessing to our family, as we live a connected and slow life together. I don't often admire people I don't know in real life, but I admire you very much.

You are such a godly example. This talk really helped me to understand how you structure your day with 5 children once formal schooling is done. I always wondered about what the toddlers were up to after shelfwork or if they were clingy. My 29 month old can only do 10 minutes of his learning binder, then he's off to exploring the house or checking to see what I'm doing. I invite him to help me with chores, but when I'm overwhelmed, I don't want his involvement since it usually entails a messier outcome or a longer completion time.

You are so right about other societies. I grew up going back and forth to Italy as my family is from there. Children are treated so differently there. Going out at night to restaurants, they are full of children of all ages!! People don’t leave them home with a babysitter to get away from them. Strangers catered to my kids, wanted them to be more comfortable, I even had a waitress turn off an AC in her ice cream shop, she was nervous it was too cold for my one year old! This was beautiful I love to hear this wonderful point of view on motherhood. Embrace it all💕

I love my baby boy so much and I have always been understanding of his clinginess, but in the back of my mind I hear a voice telling me I am doing something wrong for holding him all the time, etc. It’s what’s been ingrained to us in our culture here in America. Thank you for this wonderful reminder Jady! Sometimes it is easy to forget when we feel frustrated or overwhelmed that our children are this small or this age for a very little time. I have a 4 year old and a 9 month old. My 4 year old is not so clingy anymore, but does still want mama to play with him much of the time. I do find it easier when every morning he comes into my room and I immediately hug him and ask/ tell him “good morning mi amor how was your sleep? / te amo mucho!”. After this, his daily routine seems to run much more smoothly as he becomes more active and independent. I am also a firm believer in enjoying every bits of happiness and messiness because time does fly! Thank you again for sharing! God bless you and your family!

👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 People have always ask me how do/did I do it. I agree with everything you said. I’ve have had conversations with others saying, they would love to have the relationship that I have with my children. If you are putting them to the side, or say children must be seen and not heard. Then there’s less hope having this great bond/relationship as they get older. My daughter is 40, and my son passed last july. We are a very-very close family. Now I have grandchildren, who’s bond is just as great. As it has been said, childhood is very short. So let us embrace it to its fullness. It only take a moment to see and hear what they want, then you can continue with whatever you were doing. Furthermore, incorporate (if it is fusible), then into what ever you are doing. Thanks so much Jady on your thoughts of clinginess/motherhood. It is just our thoughts/way. Everyone has their own way of doing everything. Much love to you all❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🌼

Thank you Jady! I purchased your books, they arrived about two weeks ago, and I use them with my theee year old every day now. Your new phonics book is amazing. I wish I could join your tribe but I can’t afford it, so I really thank you for continuing to post videos via this platform. May God continue to bless you above and beyond in Jesus Christ’s name amen 🙏! Thank you for all you have done and continue to do. It means so much to many of us.

Brilliant thanks for this assurance. Yes we have our kids for a season let's treasure it. Often people keep suggesting to send my kids to nursery/kindergarten to play with other kids, my kids do play with other kids, the difference is, is that I'm there.

I'm homeschooling my 5 yr old son and my baby daughter is 1. We recently pulled out our son from a learning center after 3 days of attendance because he would act up every time we would drop him off...after that he would aclimate but he wouldn't interact with other kids. We wanted to help him to socialize with other kids and get him ready for 1st grade but the response of the people at the learning center made me see their only interest is $$$. I know my son can be a handful, the separation anxiety got him he started kicking and screaming. This made me realize why am I doing this to my son? I'm planning to make our own field trips for this summer, we are going to the library today for example and making changes to our homeschool schedule. I won't give up but sometimes I feel defeated...God plz guide me 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
